Was upset we haven't ordered on app. (We had vouchers). Told us with 4 of us, it was to much work to do seprate tickets. Then stared at us itrattated. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. Everytime I stopped by and was told, "he will call you", so I left contact information. The phone never rang, no messages, so clearly it wasn't there intent to call back. After three months and seven or eight trips to the store, I find out they can't help you. Shaub-Ellison Scam Customers!! Right before Christmas 12/19/2016 my husband slid on some black ice into a wood rail and popped the front driver's side tire. I took our 1997 Toyota Rav4 into Shaub Ellison to replace the tire. We have an account with Les Schwab since we are previously military and move states regularly. Our tires were still under warranty from when they were purchased from a Les Schwab in Washington State and the tire replacement was completed that day. After the holidays we were able to bring the car back to get looked at for any further damage since the steering wheel sat at the 2 o'clock position, I wanted the car to get an alignment. I was told that the suspension cross member was bent, that the forward cradle was crinkled and that my car was unsafe to drive. According to their mechanics it needed an estimated $1,700 repair and that an alignment would not fix the problem since it was so damaged. Since my older vehicle was Kelly Blue Book valued at roughly $1,500 this was a total loss according to our insurance and we would have to pay for the repair out of pocket. Luckily, my parents found a 1997 Toyota Rav4 cross member at a junk yard and sent it up with a friend who was moving to Ketchikan. We paid $150 for the part. When another mechanic looked at the vehicle, they noted there was no damage. The car was lifted and inspected by multiple people and mechanics. My husband called Shaub Ellison to speak to the mechanic that originally inspected the vehicle and gave the estimate for repairs. Your mechanic claimed there was a parallel bend upward on both sides that could only be seen when the vehicle was lifted. The car was put onto a lift, but other mechanics inspected that there was no visual signs of movement, stress or damage like described. The fastners were not moved or torqued. It was described to me that the damage to the car was critical and to a very important piece that needed to be fixed. And yet no other mechanics could find this damage. Had I authorized this repair instead of seeking parts elsewhere, I would have needlessly paid $1700. We took the vehicle to another mechanic who performed an alignment. It cost us $100 to properly align the vehicle and get a second opinion that deems our car sound. I will never bring one of our vehicles back to this garage since I can not trust their work, their word or their practices. This all feels very suspect and dishonest. read more

I do maintenance for all of my families vehicles but I was out of town so my mom went here to get her winter tires put on. Pretty quick because she had them put on way in the fall. In the drive home she felt a wobble then the wobble was so violent she stopped immediately. some of the lugs had come off and others were barely on there. She had it towed back to the shop and she was pissed. They we're gonna charge her for new wheel studs but her tire almost came off! They finally did it free of charge and off on her way. The next year came around and her summer tires were leaking around the bead bad. I don't have a tire machine so we just brought the car there. It was done soon enough and on the way home I was driving then the tire blew out! It was one of the rears so I still had pretty good control. I put the spare on and drove back and they re seated the bead. I wouldn't have gone there again after the first time but my mom didn't tell me about the first time. Don't go here there are 2 other shops in town who can do tires. read more

I dropped my car off today to get new all season tires as the snow is about to fly, I bought this used car a few months ago and assumed I needed new good tires, carter called me not long after and said my tires were fine and I didn't need to buy new, how refreshing, so I went to pick up my car and they rotated the tires and said "no charge" they definitely have my business in the future!! read more

Even though they had the tires mounted and balanced before i arrived it still took nearly 5 hrs to get the tires installed on my truck. We were given an estimate of 2 hrs to get the install completed. Called after 2.5hrs and was told it would be another hr. I went into the shop after another 1.5hrs to be told they hadn't even started the install. After asking to speak with the manager, asst. manager Steve informed us that they don't give estimates of when tire installs would be completed. If they didn't call me, they weren't done yet. However, 2 different employees quoted me time estimates. After further discussion with Steve all I got was excuses and not even a hint of an apology. All I wanted was a simple apology for their lack of communication. That type of attitude and lack of customer service in their management team makes me seriously wonder about the ethics of this shop. I was flat out lied to multiple times (not just about install time frames). What else did they lie to me about that I didn't catch? read more
