Amazing shakes and food. Very kid friendly!!! We will be back to try more of the menu.

Chicken shawarma plate

First time trying this place! Ordered delivery via Door Dash; received it quickly so service must have been timely. I had the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and garden salad, and baklava. The flavor of the chicken and rice with garlic sauce was delicious, but next time I would order extra sauce as there wasn't quite enough. The hummus and salad with stuffed grape leaves complemented it perfectly. The baklava was a bit drier and less sweet than I'm used to. Overall, very good!

Chicken Shawarma with side of Hummus and Hot Hot

Does anyone remember the Purple Eggplant Pizzeria that used to be here? It closed so rapidly you'd think the owners and staff had to go into witness protection or something! Well, Shawarma and Shakes opened up in its place, and I finally decided to give them a try. Ordered the chicken shawarma with hummus and hot-hot. The hummus was delightful! It has a thinner consistency (which I don't mind by any means), and tasted homemade! Hot-hot, which is a blend of peppers in an oil (sauce?) brought the heat, but were a delight as well as a medium scorcher (be forewarned - I have higher-than-average heat tolerance). The plate also came with pita bread. Two notes on sides: First, I would have liked the hot-hot to be a little less oily, but I realize that can be a logistic challenge. Second, I would have liked more of both, since the amounts weren't very proportional to the main. Finally, pita bread was not the greatest I'd even had. And that main though! The portion size was very filling, and I can EAT. If you don't have a tendency to eat like a vacuum cleaner, split this with a friend (this is why I was mentioning the amount of sides). The chicken was cooked and seasoned nicely, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the garlic sauce added a very nice touch without being overwhelming. Everything was well balanced too with not too much chicken or rice. For fresh, hot food, it didn't take too long, about 10 minutes give or take. Price was reasonable considering the portion size/quality also. Overall, nothing mind-blowing or worth driving an hour for, but if you're close-ish and feeling some shawarma, absolutely give it a go.

Mixed Shawarma Plate

This place is a nice change of pace! After hearing good things, I decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered the mixed shawarma plate with hummus, salad and extra garlic sauce. The mixed shawarma (chicken & beef) was juicy and well-seasoned. The bed of rice it was sitting on was so light, fluffy and tasty, I could of eaten a plate of that alone and I'm usually not a big rice person. The homemade hummus is some of the best I've ever had and that garlic sauce - it needs to be bottled and sold by the jar!! Give this place a try when you're looking for something different other than the usual sub/pizza take out!

Probably the worst Shawarma wrap I've ever had. It tasted like nothing for $15. Fries were soggy too.

I like their food but it's super pricey. Especially the Ice cream. U can get Dairy Queen for much cheaper and still get a good amount.

This restaurant is charming, always clean, cheerful, and filled with friendly staff. I see lots of…read moreregulars here too, which to me is always a good sign as I don't think anybody would come back to a place the food or service were not good. The menu changes with new items quite a bit, but old favorites are always available. The ingredients are very fresh and include vegetable vegetables and fruits and whole-grain breads and more. I've had some fantastic chicken rice soup there, various "toast" options which include peanut butter or Nutella, fresh berries, honey, and more and are always delicious. I've had white chili which I would definitely order again. They have a special toast option that has hummus, hot sauce and egg to which I always add mashed avocado: this is one of my favorites And I've had a fabulous French toast with real maple syrup, which is one of my all-time favorites anywhere and it is especially delicious here. This business offers all of this plus a wide array of smoothie beverages. One of my favorites is the PB cup smoothie : Banana, Teddy's Natural Peanut Butter, Flax Seeds, Organic Chocolate Protein, Almond Milk and Chocolate Drizzle. Because I love heat, and I added it to virtually everything, I ask for a generous shake of cayenne pepper. Don't knock it till you try it! The lunch is here are awesome as well. My favorite is the turkey apple flatbread sandwich. It has sliced turkey, green apple, cheddar cheese & honey mustard pressed in naan bread. There are only two instances where I've had food that I haven't liked here: one was a sandwich that had a arugula on it, but that is simply because I just don't like arugula. No fault of the establishment. The other was the tuna fish sandwich, which I believe had way too much salt. One of my coworkers had the tuna sandwich and felt the same way. Other than these two small instances over the course of many many visits for breakfast and lunches I have no complaints. I highly recommend this establishment.

I want to love this but the customer service is just atrocious. It's beautiful and welcoming…read moreinside, lots of cozy sitting areas, clean etc. They have a big, fun menu. I got a seasonal matcha that was delicious. Unfortunately, none of that can make up for the fact that no one working there seems the least bit interested in even acknowledging customers as they walk in. When I got there, there were two people in front of me in line. The front counter guy went about taking mobile orders, etc while never speaking to anyone in the line. When they got to the front, no apologies for the delays, barely even eye contact. That's just a huge bummer for a place that had all the makings to be really special.

Great calzone, but very expensive. Quick and easy service. I would recommend this placeread more

Who is responsible for messing with the buffalo chicken calzone?…read more I heard there was a new owner of CPP, but I refused to give credence to the rumors of an altered formula until verifying for myself today, hoping for my reliable pick-me-up after going to change the flowers on my mother's grave. My fears had, to my utter shock and horror, been realized. Look how they've massacred my boy!! Why, with so much evil and confusion in a world spinning ever-faster off its own axis, is there franks sauce in my Crowe Point Buffalo Chicken Calzone?? Et tu, Crowe Point? I thought we lived in a society. Is nothing sacred? Did we fly too close to the sun for too long? Newcomers may be hoodwinked, but make no mistake: The entire greatness of the OG square-cut Buffalo calzone (which, I should clarify, has been the NUMBER ONE ITEM on the menu since before I was born) hinged entirely upon its unconventionally distinguishing features, chief among them being that the chicken cutlet, while minimally *spiced*, is not lathered (or even remotely drizzled) with buffalo sauce! It's supposed to be the anti-Buffalo Buffalo!! The anti-calzone calzone! This...whatever 'this' is--is BLASPHEMY. It's MID. RUN-OF-THE-MILL. This is worse than Plankton taking over the Krusty Krab! BRING BACK THE FORMULA! BOOOOOO!!! HISSSSS!!! SHAME! Truly a tragedy.
