We love this place. My husband always gets the trout which is perfectly prepared. Close your eyes and in different surroundings they could easily charge double! I asked Shawarma to cater a meal for 20 for my husband's birthday (he loves eating there.) They were great to work with. Very personal and low-key. When I arrived to pick up the food everything was ready, labeled and piping hot and they included serving utensils for each item on the menu. And they helped carry everything to the car. It looks like a quick food joint, but it's really delicious and fresh. I had the lamb shank (as usual). It was melt in my mouth delicious. Kind of weird eating it with white or brown rice though. Still their spicy hummus and baba ghanouj were the right consistence. It was creamy, but with some chuckiness to them so they are more like a side dish and less like a spread. As a recent California transplant, I was excited to find that this restaurant carried stuffed grape leaves which I've been craving since arriving in Colorado. I was disheartened to see the local Garbanzos restaurants do not carry grape leaves and was pleasantly surprised by how well these were made. The owners are super friendly and do a great job with everything, and seem to really care about the details when preparing your food. I love the schwarma salad and the schwarma plate, and often have a tough time deciding which one to order. I always get falafel with my meal. One word of caution, while it is a great lunch restaurant, it is across the street from Arapahoe high school. My wife and I decided to try dinner here on a Saturday night based on good reviews we heard from friends and from Yelp. I have tried a handful of similar places and I was very impressed here. Great food, but they nickel and dime you for everything. Even with a stamp card, you fill it up and only get a free sandwich or $5 off. I don't eat pita so I get the plates. Each time I'm there I spend $10 on the plate and $4.95 on extra meat and still only get one stamp. So to fill a stamp card it costs me $150 and then when I use the card I basically just get the extra meat for free. If the cost was less here, they'd get 5 stars. read more

The best falafel anywhere- used to be Gyros King but they closed. The baba ghanoush is also the best anywhere. The tabbouleh is spot on. The hummus-not as much tahini and garlic as I prefer but most people don't like it the way I do. Haven't tried the shawarma yet since they put in the authentic spinning meat grills. The best service the people are so friendly they always say they are glad to see me again and trust me I'm always glad to see them too 'cause I know I'm gonna be happy with the food and the service. The place is extremely clean and the owners treat you like friends and ask about your family. The beef shawarma with rice and potatoes is delicious. The homemade pistachio ice cream with baklava is superb. They have a fidelity card that you can get 50% discount every five meals. Pretty simple and I can't say it was great, it was ok, didn't get a lot of flavor from any of the ingredients, other than the garlic sauce, maybe I should have asked for more sauce? Also, had the chicken shawarma plate with salad, spicy hummus, potatoes, and white rice. The only stand out was the spicy hummus. In my opinion, this is some of the very best Shawarma in the Denver metro area. I enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, but haven't ever found a place that inspires me to keep coming back...until now. I don't have any negative aspect to my dining experience. The food was exceptionally fresh and well prepared. I had the beef and lamb combo plate with spicy hummus. I fell in love with the spicy hummus and tahini sauce. Both excellent! The vegetable ingredients were meticulously cleaned which has not always been my experience at other establishments. As for the dining area, immaculately clean and well maintained. Music was at a comfortable level. My dining experience was for dinner, but I saw signage that they run a lunch special for the local high school students which is directly across the street, so I would imagine lunchtime could be a very busy. This will definitely be one of my new local favorite dinner stops! read more
