After a quick search for Indian restaurants in Denver, we came across Sukoon--and we are so glad we did. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet with only a few tables occupied, which made us a bit uncertain at first. However, we were warmly greeted and seated by a gentleman who, I believe, was the owner. His hospitality set a welcoming tone for the evening. We decided to try a variety of appetizers, including samosas, papadi chaat, stuffed mushrooms, gobi Manchurian, and dal soup, as well as shrimp tandoori for our entrée. Every dish was exceptionally well-prepared--beautifully seasoned, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Each bite was truly delightful. As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn't help but wonder why the restaurant wasn't busier. Sukoon is one of those rare finds you want to see thrive: outstanding food, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. When we finished, the owner stopped by to ask if it was our first visit. We told him it was--but certainly not our last. Sukoon is an excellent addition to Denver's dining scene, and I hope more people discover this gem. Highly recommended.

There's so many dishes to try and everything was fresh and hot. I wish Godavari existed in Texas because man oh man the spicy and flavors of each dish was made like you had went to a family meal! Everything was different flavor profile and it's super authentic! Chicken, goat, paneer, veggies, different curries, different rices, briyani, and so much more! I really enjoyed my meal! This place was packed but we manage to be able to snag a table during rush hour. The thing that I find strange is that they were selling mango lasso drinks kept in a cooler refrigerator display and some other items you can purchase. I wish they would just have that part of the buffet. There seems to be a lot of them and people weren't buying those items because they already paid $$ for the buffet. Do I recommend this place? Yes! If you are in Denver you need to visit this place! Great value and great amount of food! It's a great way to try different authentic indian dishes! Must try and visit! When we are back in Denver we will definitely be returning!

This was a great way to try a little bit of everything. The food was tasty and not overly spicy. We tried the achars and pickles that were a great addition. Chai is part of the buffet too! I will say they heavily push the buffet, making it seem that ordering off the menu will take up to 45 minutes. However, we saw those who ordered from the menu get their food in half that time. Great ambiance, although a little hectic through the buffet!

Granted, we always order exactly the same dishes, so I can only speak to them. The key is their consistency. The flavors and always spot on and the exact same as the last time we indulged. Our go-to standards are Chicken Korma (hot), Saag Paneer (medium), Dal Fry (medium) and Garlic Naan. The Korma is always the perfect heat, not too hot, but enough to leave the heat lingering in your mouth. It's perfectly creamy, with a generous amount of chicken. The Saag Paneer always has the right combo of spinach, cream and cheese. It's making my mouth water, as I write this! The Dal Fry tastes like it has been cooking all day, with the perfect seasonings. It is the right consistency - not too watery and not too thick. All dishes come with a lightly seasoned rice. The Garlic Naan is always cooked perfectly, with the right amount of garlic and ghee. Absolutely the perfect vehicle to slide through all of the wonderful main dishes. We always order for pickup, but the restaurant seems very inviting and has an extensive bar area. I would post pics, but the photos that are already posted to the food justice for sure. Seriously, if you are craving excellent Indian food - give this spot a try, you will not regret it!
