I love this place and order takeout from here often. Everything is good and has great flavor. I never feel bloated or anything after eating their food like some other Indian restaurants. Service is always very friendly. Dining in is nice but my one single complaint is that the inside of the resturant smells so heavily like air freshener. Like Glade plug ins or something. It's completely overwhelming. Get rid of those things! Let the Indian spices fill the room instead of some crazy air freshener. We have been looking for a good Indian restaurant for a long time. In our journey, we have found some really bad ones, some pretty good ones, and some OK ones. Then we found Haldi. Now we know a great Indian restaurant that I can finally highly recommend. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and invited to a comfortable booth. There are many items on the menu and probably something for everybody. I started off with Mulligatawny Soup which had amazing curry flavor along with fresh herbs and tender chicken. We also had the appetizer sampler plate, Haldi Chefs Special: Platter of veggie samosa, veggie pakora, onion bhaji and fried veggie momo. Every item was delicious but the onion bhaji and the fried veggie momo could have been hotter in temperature because they were barely warm to the touch. Our delicious entrees arrived and what a delight. I had my favorite, Tikki masala chicken. The spices were a perfect blend of spicy and you can specify how hot you would like your individually prepared dish. I opted for medium hot. It was perfect. It had a kick, but didn't burn my mouth off. The flavors were like a festival in my mouth. One problem I usually have with most Indian restaurants is that they don't always have enough of the wonderful sauce to go with the chicken but here the proportion of sauce was perfect. I ate till I was pleasantly fall and got to take wonderful leftovers home. The Haldi Mixed Grill: Assortment kebab of chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, lamb tikka & shrimp tikka (GF) $25 was very good, but just a little dry without the wonderful sauce. The service was stellar. From the time that we were warmly greeted walking into the door until the time we left, we were made to feel welcome and to feel like valued customers. Every step of the way, and every interaction and every bite delighted. Poonam assisted us with checking out and let us know it was a family owned restaurant. Very delicious Indian food in the Denver area! I highly recommend getting a plate of naan with your dish. I came with a group of friends and had the chicken tikka masala (which comes with unlimited basmati rice) and butter naan. The naan was fresh, warm, and delicious. Awesome gluten free food with amazing service! Menu is clearly marked and so many GF options. We ordered the onion bhaji (they were so good we ordered a second!), chai tea, veggie korma, and paneer butter masala (all ordered very mild and they came very mild). Haldi is our go-to spot for Indian food! The food is always delicious, and we especially love their super spicy Sneaky 7 . The Gobi Manchurian is our favorite appetizer, and the garlic naan and roti are both great sides. The kids usually get the chicken tikka masala, while we like to tour the menu and try different things. We've always had a great experience here. I am not a huge Indian food lover, but went to Haldi for a celebration. I was very impressed. The service was friendly. The food was very good. They were very helpful so that I didn't get options that were too hot. I had the naan, saag paneer, chicken korma, and chicken biryani (if you are sensitive to heat go with 1 and try the yogurt they give you to cut the heat. The food was good. My wife had the seafood curry and she loved it. All of the dishes were very flavorful. When I read "bone in goat" I thought it was going to be large bones cooked with the meat. They were large and tiny bones. This made eating the dish a tad difficult. I ordered the dish at a spicy level 3 and it was the perfect amount of spicy for me to enjoy. I remember this place used to be a KFC and they changed it into an Indian restaurant, which is fine but they should make further changes to the outside to reflect that. Inside the restaurant was beautiful. The inside says fine dining but the outside says fast food. Parking was plentiful. You won't have a hard time finding a spot. Best Indian food I have had in a long time. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is serene and calm. The food? So good! I tried a the lamb mango and it was phenomenal. This dish has a healthy portion of lamb chunks cooked to perfection where is is a mix of fall off the bone and intense flavor. The sauce is divine with a sweet and spicy combo that leaves your mouth watering for more. It has sweet chunks of mango, tomato, onion in a tomato based sauce. I couldn't get enough. This pairs so well with their coconut naan. It is so fluffy and has a layer of coconut inside. We also had the butter chicken. This is a staple anytime we try Indian and this one is one of the vest I have had. The creamy tomato base was velvety and well balanced. The chicken was also cooked to perfection. We pared this with the butter naan, which again was so thin I and fluffy. I was truly impressed with this meal. I love Indian food and this place is fantastic!!! They have some very unique dishes as well as your standard masala, butter chicken, kormas and vindaloos. For staters we had vegetable pakora, samosas, and the kebab sampler and they all were great! Everything in the kebab sampler (chicken, lamb, and shrimp) was cooked perfectly, the chicken was so tender I cut it with my fork and the lamb was a perfect medium-medium rare. We tried the Lamb Dhaniya, Scallop and Shrimp Moilee and Mango Lamb knowing he would have leftovers for the kids and everything was delicious. My friend Rika and I were waited upon fairly quickly and everyone was very polite. The menu was classic Northern Indian cuisine with some unique items too. We ordered the vegetarian samosas and those were fresh and delicious crispy triangles. But the absolute scene stealing item was the thick, rich and incredibly tasty tomato coconut soup. I CAN EAT A QUART OF THAT YUMMY SOUP!!! My friend ordered sweet potato masala which was creamy and tasty. The butter chicken was my favorite and I really loved how the chicken was cut into smaller pieces than other restaurants and that made me happy.
