Happy Hour @ Buckman's Grille Monday - Thursday 2 p.m. - 8p.m. $5 well liquor, wine, and 12 oz domestic canned beer. We had The Buffalo chicken dip with house made tortilla chips, delicious! Cabernet wine and beer . Devon was so kind and updated us on upcoming events that we we not aware of and may attend . Bingo nights , Trivia nights , wine dinners etc . They happened to have live music which was great and sorry I don't know the gentleman's name but he had a great set list!! Well deserved tip from us :) Restaurant does close at 7 pm but they don't exactly kick you out . We went to sit outside on the patio to catch a sunset. We watched the quail birds, geese's flying around hummingbirds, and rabbit's hopping around . This really is a beautiful place and a must try . Mid week is not busy , probably due to the heat . Such a beautiful view from inside , you can see the Las Vegas strip on a clear day . Can't wait to return!

I would recommend you playing at Paiute or Chimera. Yesterday I played at Las Vegas Golf Club - Muni course and it's 10 times better than Lexington. The fairways are Plush and the greens are nice. Save your money and play somewhere else. It was such a disappointment for the price we have to pay.

Rob was nice and clearly knew his stuff, but I didn't feel I got the chance to try the clubs I wanted to because of the rush. I was asked to choose 2 from TaylorMade, Ping, or Callaway GI irons based on looks, and then we would try the shafts. I asked about trying the Titleist but was told they wouldn't be a good fit for me. We went through a few shafts; it seems like some of the standard choices weren't available, so we ended up with upgraded shafts. I ended up with the fitting documents and was told I had to purchase the clubs before I left, or the fee wouldn't be credited. To be fair to Rob, that's a company decision, not his, but I already felt rushed, and then, all of a sudden, I had to make a decision immediately while someone else was booked in and waiting for Rob. In the end I paid for the fitting, walked away, and booked another fitting elsewhere. In hindsight, I should have just picked up a wedge. The clubs I was fitted into at Golftec were at the bottom of my options. The other place gave me 2 months to order clubs and get the fitting fee credited. I've now ordered a full bag, and for the irons, the data told me the T350's were my best option. So I went with Titleist in the end.

I decided to dive in and get clubs. I called and spoke with someone and I feel like mostly they operate under the assumption that you have clubs already etc. I told them I didn't have clubs but would like to get some and get instruction. I still received an email instructing me to bring my clubs. Not a great sign, but alright. Perhaps, because I didn't arrive in goofy golf clothing or wasn't wearing a Rolex, I felt like I was sort of talked down to. When I mentioned I wanted to get clubs I was told I was booked for a lesson and not a fitting. I stated I would like instruction also. I could tell the guy helping me was growing frustrated at my lack of understanding but didn't really tell me why he couldn't evaluate or coach me and then tell me what sort of clubs to get. I decided that golf and it's environment isn't for me. Thanks but no thanks. I have a lot of other hobbies where I'm not made to feel like a jerk for being new.

I putted to the green on a couple of the holes. The improvised tee's where just plopped in the fairway. I get it that the courses need to do reseeding, but work with the golfers. What's upsetting is that we still had to pay $49 for golfing half of the course. So why not charge half the price to golf?? The greens where recently aerated and that didn't help the putting. The bunkers where like hitting off of concrete. They don't provide towels for golfers, just water. They don't seem to compensate the golfers in lowering the fees to golf. I paid less to golf at a course a mile from there. A full par 72. Bottom line, we weren't happy having to pay full price for a round.

There were 2 very nice guys in there to help me out. The large bucket of balls is $12 for 100 balls. Great prices! The driving range does have you hit off of mats instead of the grass, but the mats are nice and aren't ripped up. They also have a nice chipping practice area, and a beautiful putting practice area as well. I will be back to play the course!

I tried watching some YouTube videos, and I'm sure there is some good advice out there, somewhere, but I figured having someone explain the basics to me then watch me and give advice on what I should change, was worth the investment. Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly - patient.

I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! Can't wait to take more lessons from him soon and start kicking ass at golf!
