Instead of feeling helped, I felt rushed and talked down to. His tone came across as impatient and dismissive, and it made me feel uncomfortable asking simple questions. Everyone is unfamiliar with a menu at some point, and I left that interaction feeling like my questions were an inconvenience rather than something he was happy to help with. The food, on the other hand, was great. The ciabatta sandwich is one of my favorites and is always a reason I come back. The matcha is usually amazing as well. I love how creamy and smooth it normally is with oat milk, and it's honestly one of the best matchas I've had. This time, though, it tasted much grassier and more bitter than usual, which was a little disappointing. For dessert, I tried the strawberry mousse dessert with a chocolate shell and strawberry filling. The mousse and strawberry filling were delicious, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The only part I didn't enjoy was the outer chocolate shell, which was a little too bitter for my taste and overpowered some of the other flavors. Overall, the food was still very good, but the service left a negative impression. On our final day in town, we had a group of 18 people after a sushi feast and decided to order a large variety of desserts from here. The only downside we experienced was that the online menu didn't fully match what was actually available in the store. Since our group coordinated orders remotely, about one-third of the items selected online were unavailable when we went to pick everything up, so we had to reorganize several orders at the last minute. Even with that small inconvenience, we absolutely loved this place and would happily return the next time we're in town.
