Herbal Sample pack (2oz packs). Tranquilitea - great for relaxation. A Christmas blend called Nutcracker

Great service. If don't live the area, they will ship it to you. Their customer service is impeccable and they are always happy to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. I am really impressed with the quality of their loose leaf teas. If you are not sure what you want, pick up some sample packs for a great price. Whether you visit the store or shop online they have something for everyone. I have ordered online twice and visited the store once. info@teacozy.biz

2oz bags of their ice wine and tropical paradise teas

First established 25 years ago, Tea Cozy is now located in the Arthouse on R Street and offers unique tea-centric artisan gifts and treats along with over 125 different loose-leaf tea blends sold either by the ounce, or by the cup to-go. As an avid tea drinker, I knew I had to check out what Tea Cozy had to offer, and I was not surprised in the least when I walked out with a number of purchases. I selected a cat-themed Japanese teacup and spoon as a gift for a friend, along with 2 ounces each of their Ice Wine and Tropical Paradise tea blends. At first glance 2 ounces may not sound like a lot, but the staff members assured me that 2 ounces is plenty for at least 20 cups of tea. Since I'm a huge fan of fruit teas, the Tropical Paradise, which is a green tea with guava and mango flavors at the forefront, was a no-brainer for me; however, I was looking to walk home with another one, but wasn't too sure what to choose. The staff members were super helpful and advised me to give their Ice Wine blend a try as it's one that they consider a hidden gem that often gets overlooked, trusting in their tea expertise I went along with the recommendation. The Ice Wine blend is a mix of black and white tea with notes of pears, grapes, and berries. Although I didn't purchase these blends, I did want to mention if you're a fan of Avatar the Last Airbender, Tea Cozy has a whole selection of teas inspired by the animated series! I'll probably check out this collection in the future when I come back for more teas. If you're a fan of loose-leaf teas and looking to support a local business, then I recommend stopping by Tea Cozy once the cold really sets into Sacramento to sample their delectable tea selections!

Years ago when we were having dinner around the corner, I stopped in here and bought the most delicious jasmine tea. I was able to stop in again recently and they had an amazing selection of Japanese green teas and were really informative and helpful. I was able to get some new types I hadn't tried before and I am really enjoying them. This is a good place if you love variety and the freedom to get as little or as much of the product as you would like. The shop has a lot of interesting items and I will definitely stop in whenever I am in the area.

Tea Cozy was very welcoming. They offered free samples of their tea and I tried their apple spiced tea which was so delightful. I did buy a 2oz bag of apple pie tea as a Christmas gift for my tea friend.

I've never been much of a tea drinker, other than milk tea. I think it was because I've never had good, quality tea before. My sister has been trying to convert me to tea and had me sample teas she got from Tea Cozy. She gave me the Premium Masala Chai, English Vanilla and Vanilla Honeybush. I'm now a regular tea drinker because of the teas I found at Tea Cozy. I've passed Tea Cozy before when I ate at Fox and Goose, but because of the shop size, I usually waited outside while my sister made her purchases. Now I wish I'd ventured in sooner. I've only had experience with generic bagged teas, not loose leaf. Using loose leaf tea has been a gamechanger for me. I really love the variety of loose leaf teas at Tea Cozy. You can peruse their selection by going to their store or online. It's been a breeze doing online orders. On Friday and Saturday, they have curbside pick up. During the weekdays, I've been able to find parking nearby and pick up my pre-ordered teas. The staff are patient and knowledgeable, which is a plus for a newb like me. Besides tea, the store also offers tea paraphernalia, British goods, honey, cups and teapots.

Located in the art house on R street is tea cozy. It's to your left as you enter the art house building. I first tried this place during a Yelp event and I loved everything I got. My inventory had run low and the hubs and I had lunch near the area so I decided it would be the perfect time to restock. They were offering a hot cup of tea for $3 off of their New Years Favorites menu which is hanging on the wall to the left of the register. They also have an easel with menus which break down the tea options by type. They offer a wide range of sizing options and the staff is always so friendly and happy to answer any questions and assist you in finding your perfect cup. I got a hot cup of the Cupids Cup which was sweeter than i was expecting but in a good way and I really enjoyed it! I also went home with 2oz of Guava Oolong, a 2oz of one the green tea options and a 4 oz of the black pepper chai. For quite a small area they have so many teas to choose from and many little tea accessories through the floor as well. A lovely and quaint little spot that's definitely worth stopping in.

I also ordered a Croffle with Nutella. Our server added bananas and whipped cream. OMG. It was sooooooo tasty!!! She ordered an order of "Dirty Fries" that she had seen on Instagram. It was like a decomposed crab roll on top of perfectly cooked French fries. They made a non-meat option for people celebrating Lent. The service was amazing and the owner of the store even took the time to come chat with us. It sounds like they are opening up an outside seating area soon as well as offering a brunch menu. The gals behind the counter were awesome. They were busily working the whole time. The cafe was a little busy when we got there (10:22) and by the time we left (11:45), it was HOPPIN'! Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. We will definitely be back with some more friends!! P

I did not like how the menu was chaotic. There are menu items on the screen above the register and then they had advertisements of other random items just on the glass. I ordered the Mango Sticky rice drink. I'm not sure it was even a drink?? It had sticky rice on the bottom and mango slush on top, so it was kinda like a drink but you needed a spoon for the sticky rice. What was annoying was that not only did you have to ask for a spoon, but the spoon they provided had a small handle for such a deep cup. It was just a sticky mess. I'm good off this place.

They have a parking lot but it's shared with other businesses and always seems to be full, however there's a good amount of street parking and I found a spot closeby no problem. When I walked in it was a lot bigger than I expected and they had a good amount of seating. There wasn't a line when I arrived, but that quickly changed after I placed my order and I feel like there was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!

My lady and I ordered their BSL and Saigon Coffee. We were told it was their last day to get the BSL and it seemed hyped up so we gave it a try. It was not too bad! It was mainly a Matcha with banana syrup and little additions, I feel as if it was a little too overhyped. Their Saigon Coffee was a little lacking in coffee flavor & strength for my personal liking but it wasn't too bad! This place is definitely a solid Coffee shop in Sacramento for sure.
