She was rude and I had explained to her that I wanted my hair done a certain way and she confirmed she could provide the service. When I got to the salon she looked at my hair and decided to change her mind last minute. Never gave me a chance to go call other salons or actually tell me to come in for a consultation first. This was a couple months ago so maybe she doesn't work there anymore but I felt very attacked. Also my hair came out horrible and she rushed me in decided whether or not I wanted to do it her way. She gave me an ultimatum and said either I leave or we do highlights like she suggested. I ended up get it done Since my trip was only 5 days out. Let me tell you this it was horrible, the highlights were so red and streaky and the lighting in the salon did not show the full effect so I thought it looked good. I ended up dyeing my own hair after a couple weeks to cover up the streaks. I would not recommend booking here if you want a good salon that's going to do you justice try booking at Gervais or HapiHairstudios.

Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience with the stylist or the end result of my hair. The majority of the time I was getting my hair done it was silent, at least from my stylist. It was really awkward. I tried asking her a couple of questions to get at least some sort of conversation going but her answers were short. I did end up hearing about a personal issue she's having and a couple other personal details, all of which made the experience even more awkward. She and the other stylists talked about how lazy one of their partners was, lamented about being "broke", and talked poorly of a customer who'd left a message asking about an appointment. Regarding the haircut/style, I asked for a couple inches taken off of my hair and said I wanted to keep most of the length. My hair was LONG. I showed her a photo of the style I wanted, to which she responded with how my hair was too thick. I pointed out that it was the length of layers I was referring to. She asked if she could cut it dry and straighten it so that it would be even and I hesitated (verbally) explaining that my hair is wavy and I don't normally straighten it. I expressed that I was worried that it would look even shorter after I wash it because I don't wear it straight and I wanted to keep length. She assured me it would be fine. As soon as she made the first cut in the back I knew it was too short because I could feel it. Again, my hair was long. But at that point it was too late so I just tried to make the best of the situation but given that the "chair side manner" was lacking it felt like torture. And now I have hair that barely hits my shoulders, despite the her saying "a couple inches BELOW the shoulders, right?" If you have curly or wavy hair, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place because that needs to be taken into consideration by a stylist when cutting it. If you have straight hair or wear yours straight it might be fine, but don't expect any interaction from your stylist.

I showed up on the 14th only to find the hair salon closed and no one there. I received no information about this the cancellation of this appointment before hand and I had scheduled it on April 22. I was very disappointed especially because at the time she had to cancel the June 26th appointment I did confirmed she would keep the next one on August 14.
