Keeping in tune with the health and fitness services provided by Salud and Faster Fitness, Southpointe Massage Therapy is the perfect complement to these small businesses. I'm currently a client of Faster Fitness, and I've been eyeing up the opportunity to cash in on a relaxation massage for overall wellness. I recently had a great experience with my first massage at this location. To start, booking the massage was seamless and easy! You can schedule an appointment by calling their main business line, or you can book an appointment through the Mindbody app if you're a regular customer. My appointment was booked with Kendra, although there are other ladies who I hear are professional and wonderful to work with as well. When I arrived for my appointment, Kendra greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and made me feel welcome. There is paperwork that clients need to fill out prior to their massage, which was new to me. The questionnaire allows the customer to provide information to the licensed massage therapist that will help them with their massage experience. It asks questions regarding medical history, current sore areas on the body or areas that need special attention, and other relevant information to make sure you have the best massage experience for your individual needs. I informed Kendra that I was having sciatic pain, and she asked me questions regarding to the pain and paid special attention to the problem area during my appointment. The bed has an adjustable heating element which I thought was a comforting touch to the overall experience. I knew going into the appointment that my muscles were very tense from my recent gym workout sessions, and Kendra worked diligently to relax my muscles and work all of the knots out. She was attentive to the amount of pressure she applied and was willing to lessen or increase the pressure based on what I wanted. She and I chatted for the entire 60 minute session, and she was fun and enjoyable to talk to! There are two rooms dedicated to massages, and the room I was in was quiet for the entire duration of the appointment (there were no outside noises drawing into the room), the room was clean and well kept, had dim lighting for a comforting environment, and soft music was played during the appointment to help with relaxation. I was very happy with my appointment and only wish I had booked it for a longer appointment time! I've already recommended this location to my co-workers, friends, and family. The scent is just wonderful and once you get settled in your chair the staff puts a nice blanket on you and even tucks in your feet. Sweet. The sounds of the ocean and comfortable soft lighting. Add some crystals to hold and just close your eyes and relax. Two of us fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at the beach. Made me realize how much I need to actually get back to the beach. After we did some shopping - the Tree of Life scent of soap, lotion, and scrub is fantastic. Bought one of the crystals I used during the session. Even bought a cute little bee ring.
