The medical meetings are rushed, and there is usually an upsell. When I tried to book an appointment, I was told it was four weeks away. I pay monthly for the medical concierge services. But when I mentioned this, the response was, "I have a waiting list. Maybe it's time to part ways." I don't use the aesthetics side much; I felt like I must not have been generating enough $ to warrant medical help. Aesthetically, they don't disclose prices, and they change from what they tell you the first time to what they charge when you check out. They also charge for the "convenience" of getting the product there rather than from the pharmacy, but charge 3x the amount for it. The option she chose was called Dermaplaning, a light scrapping of the layer of dead skin like derabrasion with her facial. I typically shy away from facials as they typically cause my skin to break out. After some arm twisting, I reluctantly agreed. On appointment day, I arrived at the location. Valerie is a one women shop that operates out of a building that leases out to various smaller salons, barbers and businesses. She performed an European facial and used a probiotic face application to prevent any break outs taking into account my past experiences I shared.
