So what incredible luck to find them on the first try! The hair consultation was spot on. Jamie knew exactly what to do after considering hair length, growth pattern, and several other factors. That's something I really appreciate as a guy whose short hair style often feels underestimated by chop-happy "stylists" who don't seem to care about anything other than buzzing you up and sending you on your way. The Salon Seven in SanDestin, FL did not disappoint. My stylist was able to begin within 5 minutes of my appointment time. She asked some background questions about my hair and what I wanted and then quickly began to work. I'm used to stylists using a #2 guard on a hair clipper when working with most of my hair but this lady effortlessly used scissors the entire time. I felt as if my hair was the canvas and she was an experienced artist. During our conversation I discovered she had years of experience and was recently married. What I didn't expect were the other fees for, toner (has always been included, as my stylist said I had been over processed $35) a back bar treatment (is this shampooing because that's what I received, and should be included $45) and a fee for a dry cut $45 (when I mentioned my hair wasn't even in the front, she cut it a tiny bit more when it was dry ‍). It cost me over double. I really hope this isn't the norm here. But spending almost $400 for partial highlights is not cool.
