I had gone to this salon 2 previous years when we come in for the month of February from the Midwest and had great service. My hair frizzes up in the humidity here, so I love to get a Brazilian Blowout ASAP once I arrive. This year the treatment didn't work at all. I texted the owner, Amy pics and a note on what we could do, but no response. I waited a few days and then called Amy and left details but again, no return call. Very disappointing as even if there wasn't anything she could do, the courtesy of a return call would have been appreciated. Luckily I found Haus of Hair close by with Alysa (850-691-8351) who was able to fix me up and did a great job. I hated to having to pay twice within a week for the same treatment, but mostly upset that I was ghosted. Don't waste your time with this place, go to Haus of Hair! read more

Scheduled an appt for my 14 year old to get a trim. Eh. Nothing special. I expected that since we were Here on vacation that the salon must be super Nice and the shampoo must be super luxurious but not So much. I had Laura assigned for the trim. She was ok. But the excitement really was the owner (Amy) was complaining about customers not showing or complaining about her pricing. She said if you can't afford it here then don't come. Wow. I was quiet in the corner and overheard her. I thought maybe she had pregnancy Brain, but apparently she isn't preg (oops). She went on a rant about how she's tired of everyone complaining about her pricing. Well I guess add me to that group bc a trim for a teen was $65. Ouch. But hey I paid, cuz I wanted to run w the salon BIG DOGS. But I will stay on the porch now. It wasn't so relaxing and I can find another place along 30-A. read more

This salon was amazing. I booked three hairstyles for my wedding and they were perfect. At first I thought they were pricey ($90 for updo or blow out), but 1) they were worn every penny, and 2) as I shopped around I found they were right in the middle of other salons with regard to price. The staff was so accommodating, allowing us to hang out on couches with champagne, etc. and Cheryl was phenomenal. I've honestly never left a salon loving my hair. Cheryl was patient with all of my requests and paused throughout my style to get feedback. The result was hair I absolutely loved. When I move to this area in a few years I will look to the Grove for a permanent salon. In the meantime, reviewing as there aren't many reviews out there in this area and this is a can't miss Salon!! read more

Oh boy. Made an appointment to get my extensions raised, hair highlighted and a trim. Alyssa suggested that I replace my extensions as they carried the same ones at Grove. I agreed. So, new extensions, hair highlighted and a trim all for $695.00. Unbelievable. I was so shocked I was dumb enough when it prompted for a tip, I added 20%. My appointment - $800.00. Unbelievable. Am I in Hollywood? I called back the next day to make sure I didn't pay for a bunch of products or someone else's hair. Nope, receptionist told me they'd just raised their prices and I had a master stylist. Never mind there wasn't a business card for her like all the others at the front desk. I'm so glad this place is in the neighborhood! I live off 30A but decided to first drive to Destin for a cut and color but unfortunately, the color was way off. I decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad I did! I showed a few pictures of the color I was looking for and Amy and Sophie did such a good job matching it!! I moved to the area June 2018 and was lucky enough to find Amy on my first attempt at finding a new stylist. As soon as I walked in I was in love with the atmosphere of the salon. After my thorough research and looking at her work I knew I wanted Any for my blonde. But not only is she amazing at what she does, she's seriously the sweetest! It feels like I'm chatting with an old friend when I'm in her chair. My wedding is next summer and she's already asked what my vision is for my wedding style and is making sure I have long, blonde picture perfect hair! I made an appointment to have my three girls hair trimmed. It was my 2 year old daughter Emily's first haircut. The staff was so accommodating and sweet to my girls. The cuts were all great and the girls all were given large lollipops. My little Emily also received a "1st haircut" certificate and a lock of hair. Thank you so much Tammy and Mark.
