I requested that they deliver it and they agreed to do so the next day. I received a phone call in advance, which was nice. The truck showed up, and they placed the heavy hot water tank in my garage. I then asked for them to move it to the basement, which was basically the reason I paid for delivery. But I was told that they're not allowed to move hot water tanks into houses. They packed up and left. I was disappointed because I paid for delivery and I should be able to say where to place the unit. Instead, I had to get my family together to slide the thing down the steps, which was fun, let me tell you. Next day delivery was nice, but they should allow the homeowner to dictate where it goes, within reason.

We recently purchased a GE Refrigerator/Freezer from Home Depot (4066 Medina Rd, Fairlawn, OH…read more44333) which came with Free Delivery and Installation. Delivery and Installation was a joke. All that was done was to carry the appliance into the house and plug it in. The refrigerator was brought in as it was shipped by the manufacturer. This means that they did not install handles or shelving which was shoved inside the refrigerator in boxes. They would not install the water line because our shut off valve was not immediately behind the refrigerator. We called a plumber out and he thought this was crazy because we had a setup with a shutoff valve right below the refrigerator in the basement which he indicated was to code. He advised doing nothing and we should simply hook the waterline into the new refrigerator ourselves. The 4 refrigerator doors were totally covered with a blue protective film which was also tucked into the seams so it could not be removed cleanly. When I asked the delivery man about the protective film, his response was "do you expect me to spend my day peeling this off". My wife and I spent hours over 2 days trying to remove the film but are still left with blue film around the edges which we can't get totally out. If you look at the Home Depot website, they have a picture of delivery men carrying in a refrigerator very similar to ours that that has handles installed and no protective film on the appliance - FALSE ADVERTISING! We will never return to Home Depot again.

My wife and I had a major home improvement remodel project in late 2019 and into early 2020. We reached out to Jamie Smith at Natural Falls Construction on a Sunday morning just to find out his availability. After a short phone conversation he offered to visit our home that day. We were pleased with his vision and thoughts as we described the elements of the project we were considering. The project scope included remodeling the kitchen and dinette area into a single space and opening the space to integrate the formal dining room. The original kitchen layout was such that the refrigerator location caused some congestion through the kitchen when entering the house from the attached garage. To resolve this the refrigerator location was moved as part of the opening to the formal dining room. We also contacted a second contractor who visited with us later that week. At this second visit the contractor listened to our concept and requirements but did not offer any specific ideas. He recorded some measurements for the cabinets he was planning. After receiving both estimates we were impressed with the detail provided in the Natural Falls document and most importantly the cabinetry work he included in his estimate was to be custom for the space, not standard size units as proposed by the second contractor. Ultimately, we were so pleased with the proposed plan by Jamie that we expanded the project scope beyond the kitchen and dinette areas to include the family room as well as a total reconstruction of the first floor half bath and flooring into the laundry room. Finally, this project was performed as the Covid 19 pandemic evolved and although this caused some delays this did not result in any work shortcuts. We are very happy with the space we now have and with the increased value of our home!

Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

In addition to this issue, I was over billed and had to stop a large unauthorized debit from being withdrawn from my bank account. Unfortunately, the company was found to be unprofessional (poor customer service (with interactions with the owner), scheduled appointments that ended up as no-calls, no show). The manager you was pushing warranties and extras was pushing a little to hard. The delivery people were good but they had to take a door off to get the couch in and didn't put it back correctly and I had to adjust the door when I came home. All in all I would buy here than any of the other furniture places around.
