I went from frumpy ill-fitting box-store bras to colorful and sultry bras that actually supported the girls. I have a soft place in my heart for these places, especially when run by knowledgeable staff. I was delighted to discover this place a little less than a year ago, and have been remiss in not writing about them sooner. On the day I went in, it was afternoon on a holiday of some sort, and I was surprised they were open. But open they were, and I went in without waiting. I was shown to a room, and the matronly woman in charge asked if I minded if she brought the new girl along to learn. I like being a demo bunny, so I was all for it. The matron listened to what I wanted, fetched a good selection, and with a little refining (NOT pink, take that thing away) I got a more than ample selection. The new girl was helpful and unobtrusive, and the matron knew her stuff. I told her what brand I was used to fitting well, and she grabbed a different brand as well, that was on a significant sale. Things here are expensive, but no more so than any boutique bra place I have been, and the sale they had running was phenominal. I have never spent so little on good bras. And here, a year later, all three I bought that day are still in great shape, despite constant wearing and less than recommended washing. (after every wear? Are you kidding me?) The only negative was a slight air of "we want to go home" that I find quite understandable for the day I went in, and the cash register not working, so I was not able to get a receipt. Summer is coming, and I want to see what new colors are coming in for bras this season. I will certainly be stopping in La Belle Femme.

I went into my consult nervous and Sarina reassured me that i would not feel uncomfortable and i would have a blast. The day came and she was right. All the ladies were fantastic we shared some good giggles throughout the shoot. The toughest part wasnt trying to look sexy or suck in my tummy it was trying not giggle the whole time. When it came time to selecting and reviewing my photos it was unreal - seeing myself like that and how talented Sarina was in placing me in positions that best flattered my body made me feel awesome about myself but help me to see that - yes i can be sexy and be a size 12. It doesnt matter what size you are - stretch marks - pimples - theyre so talented from editing to positioning you - to making you feel confident & sexy. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone whose looking to lay half naked and expose themself in a very personal way- whether its for you or that special someone - the photos wont ever do their talent enough justice. The only problem was that we chose the incorrect cushion firmness for us. We phoned and replacement inexpensive cushions were quickly ordered and quickly arrived. The owner offered to change them for us while we waited. Now it is really comfortable in addition to gorgeous. Online they often have sales up to 25% and 50% off and this store will not honor price matching. I called back only hours after making a purchase to find out I could have ordered the same item online for more than 25% less and they would not honor the same price. When I called to inquire about it, the first sales assocciate was rude and arrgumentative. Very disappointed with how management dealt with this. This is no way to run a business. The box was also opened, which they said is because they test all products before hand, however because of the nature of the product I purchased that seems higly unsanitary. I would not purchase from here again and regret my purchase from them. This is the Calgary Sherwood Park Location.

Dvd selection wasn't that great but really not many people bother with them with the convenience of the internet which with getting a free dvd from the pile of worse to repeated versions of that wouldn't get me going in a drought i kinda wish I'd just said pass and not thrown the 4 year old dvd in with my cluttered room.

The clerks were friendly enough and not annoyingly attentive - sometimes shopping at ladies clothing stores that aren't part of a mall can be a bit much because they don't seem to have as much traffic and they hover around you. Not so here.

This boutique has a nice assortment of trendy women's clothing. The prices are on the higher side, but I think it's worth it as they bring in really great pieces. I don't mind paying a little more to not have to go store to store at a mall just to find one trendy top. Bella Maas does the work for you and brings in a great selection all under one roof. The staff were attentive by making sure I wasn't walking around with an arm full of clothing, at the same time letting me browse in peace. The studio is fairly spacious given the size, and kept neat and tidy. The class I recently tried here was called Poundfit (by Tracey K). You use these cool lime-green drumsticks called Pound RipStix - specially designed for beating objects (floor, the other stick, mats)! It's a great whole-body workout that focuses mainly on core, thighs, and arms/shoulders. Also, if you like to make noise, relieve stress, smack things together, or feel like a 10 year old while getting your sweat on, this class is for you :) There's some coordination-involved movements, but as long as you move with the beat in some form and smiling because you're having a good time then it's great! I highly recommend trying this class at least once! It's also offered by Tracey K at her main studio - Sculpt Barre South :) Have fun!
