You can find purses here at many price points: e.g. Big Buddha (nice vegan bags) starting at around $80-ish, Christopher Kon (a montreal designer) at around $340-ish, as well as Kenneth Cole, Matt by Matt & Nat, etc. Also lots of jewelry at very reasonable prices: e.g. harriet grey, Betsy Johnson, kiko (a local designer). They also carry shoes, but I have yet to purchase those. I went to pay for my purchase and the sales associate wrapped it up in tissue before putting in the bag. The store wasn't busy on a weekday evening and it's a smaller than their previous location so it could get crowded if there were more shoppers. Certainly there are only very few Big & Tall Mens Wear stores in Edmonton (and only two George Richards Big & Tall Mens Wear locations) but this one was most excellent. The entrance is outside the mall (park on the eastern side of Safeway). This location has a lot of different garment options available including more formal wear and more casual options. When I first walked in, I thought it looked like such a nice store. It was kind of dim, with spotlights. The hardwood floors were dark, and the clothes looked eclectic. I started looking through one rack of shirts, and I was kind of shocked to see plain cotton shirts selling for $70. I kept looking through different racks, and what I started to notice was that the prices really varied. There were a lot of very expensive clothes, but there was also some very affordable clothes. I didn't see that many bigger sizes, but I eventually came across two really cool shirt dresses in my size. I tried them on, and the black on fit perfectly. And the best part was that it was marked down from $69 to $35! I couldn't believe what a good deal that was for such a nice shirt. I noticed on the receipt that this store only offers store credit or exchanges, but I am quite sure I won't be returning this shirt. They also had some awesome purses and bags, but these were well over a hundred dollars. I love this store, and I would give it five stars, if they carried more larger sizes. I will definitely be stopping by here quite often from now on.

It's free to pick it up in-store, so that's the option I chose. I placed the order late one evening and then received an email the next morning that my order was ready for pick up! Super fast! Walking into the store, you realize how large it is - it's quite deceiving from the outside. It's beautiful inside and it smells lovely; not sure if they had an air freshener or a diffuser or something like that, but it's a wonderful, light and calming scent that greets you. My order was ready behind the counter, but walking around the store I noticed a huge array of both men's and women's clothing, home decor, greeting cards, tons of candles and soaps and it goes on and on. If I didn't have to get back to work, I could easily spend a while browsing through there. The items I bought were lovely and also had a faint hint of the pretty scent from the store. I will definitely make a point to come back!

I have purchased a few wallets and a purse from this store and the transaction went pretty smoothly. But even those associates are often stoic. Gravity Pope is a YEG original and here to stay. Offering so many amazing designer goods that they somehow select with a unique individuality that really keeps the vibe of the store throughout. There are no bad items that drag down this places street cred. Even the sock are displayed on a cure washing line. They sell really funky sunglasses which my husband will love, I can't wait to take him with me next time. Really smart, fashionable street and work wear for bold Edmontonians. I love it.

I mean, $65 for a pair of nylon socks, are you kidding me? Most of their items are different from what you see at other stores, but I'm still not sure it's worth the price. They carry high-end designer brands such as Betsey Johnson and Hugo Boss. There is a wide selection in jeans, which include the Diesel brand. I think I saw some Diesel underwear for guys too ... Gravity Pope Tailored Goods also sells colognes and perfumes, along with a matching line of scented candles. The candles smelled really nice (especially the dark rum and mochito), but again, I didn't bother checking the price because I saw no point. The shop is fairly large, with another half extending past a ramp. They've got the old wooden floors that creak, and really creepy-looking dummies on either side of the entrance at the ramp. They were also playing creepy music when I was there, but I guess that's beside the main point. Maybe if most of the items weren't made in either China or Turkey, I would consider buying something on sale. But since they are, it's not even worth an exclusive Betsey Johnson dress, in my opinion.
