I go to this sheetz often and every time I come in I'm greeted very nicely, they ask me how my day was every time and they make my day. I talk to these two employees Madison and Leslie almost every time I'm there and they make great conversation with me. I love sheetz and their food I always get the pork stickers when I'm there and it's basically my daily buy. read more

Whenever out stargazing, or checking out Graves Mountain Resort, seems always stop here. It is a busy location, but it's most often a decent value. One thing Sheetz deserves credit on, is consistency in bathroom cleanliness. Here it's at that standard. Also it's convenient to pick up a MTO sandwich. Here you can order to your hearts content. They have a variety of hot and cold meals to choose from. Gas prices fluctuate, yet usually here is competitive. I filled up today and am pleased prices for now seem to be dropping. The pumps were plentiful and easy to use. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. I think this is a decent rest stop. Prices for snacks will be higher due to the convenience factor, but when on the road that's part of the equation sometimes. read more

They lady was helpful they have lots of options for every one I love how they have a walk in beer/wine area. I've never seen anything in my area. This was a great experience. Driving on a rather boring US highway (not an interstate) in central / western Virginia, there's not much for miles. And with a rain storm underway, it seemed like a good idea to stop for some "go juice" so I could avoid dozing off. Lots of covered pump areas, lots of parking, this Sheetz looks like others from the outside. Inside, it's the same. Kiosks for placing your made-to-order food and a coffee station with different coffees plus creamers and sugars and six different sizes of coffee cups. Excellent. My breakfast wraps were ready by the time I got to the register with my coffee, which the operator popped over and grabbed for me. There was a bit of a queue for the register, but they moved it along quickly. No complaints. read more

If you were to look at this Sheetz from a distance you might be inclined to rate this place at five stars, but once you near this place you can see the justification of my two star rating. From a distance you can tell that this is a rather large location which offers all the Sheetz amenities that we all have come to love. But that is nothing more than a smoke screen. Inside is a mess. This space was not properly used, which is odd with how much unused space there is. The configuration of this store is one of two things. One, this is a store in transition. Two, they overbuilt here with the idea of putting indoor seating but never partook in that stage. With this huge size you would think that everything would be organized, but it is not. Things were misplaced and scattered throughout making it hard to find just about anything you want. As for the bathroom, I find it odd that you need what is typically used as an outdoor storage shed to store your cleaning supplies in. read more

I personally have worked in a grocery store, the fruit in the back is typically the freshest, which is why I reached for this particular container. There's a sign on the door saying face masks required, but then in smaller print underneath says "if you don't wear one we assume you have a medical condition" 80% of customers not wearing masks (and they didn't appear to have a medical condition except being COVIDiots). I just wanted to pass on feedback about your kitchen manager Mindy at store 221! She is absolutely amazing and went way above and beyond with her customer service on 06/03/2022. We cannot thank her enough for the kindness she showed my husband and I. We were driving through on a trip to DC and stopped at Sheetz for gas and food (which was excellent). I told my husband to check the tire pressure and he found out instead of pumping air into the tire it was being deflated with every attempt. My husband went into the store to ask if something was wrong with the air compressor or if we were using it wrong. Mindy immediately came out and helped us discover that the tire was deflating because our valve stem was broken. This was extremely helpful because it told us that we needed to put on the spare tire and get tire fixed before carrying on with our trip. Mindy's help didnt stop there. She was extremely helpful with getting us back on the road safely and even told us where the closest place was to get the tire repaired. Saying she was extremely helpful is literally an understatement with how much she assisted us. Without Mindy's help we would have been stuck at Sheetz for countless hours trying to get a tow truck to come out or trying to figure out how to change the tire that had been fastened down way too tight. This delay would have ruined our short 2 night trip. She was not required to help us and it is not part of her job description but her caring heart had her go beyond the call of duty to make sure we were safely back on the road and headed to get the van repaired in time to be able to still make our trip. Thank you Mindy for helping us and for saving our trip! Your kindness is incredible and the world need more people as caring as you! read more

I ordered food at the MTO kiosk, and I noticed that an employee was not wearing a mask. I asked to speak to a manager twice and was denied this request. The employee without a mask was wearing a nametag that said "Mohammed," but I was told he forgot his nametag and his name was Calvin. Twice, I asked the employee who was not the manager to ask Calvin to put on his mask. Calvin did put on his mask twice, and then removed it seconds later. At last, I was allowed to speak to a manager, Danielle, who was extremely rude. Once again, Calvin was asked to put on his mask, which he quickly removed. I should have left instead of waiting for my food. From now on I will be going to WaWa. This location should be ashamed of itself. read more

They need to do something about the card-readers on the gas pumps at this location. Although all pumps offer choice of credit or debit, many of the pumps process the transaction as credit even after selecting the debit option. Other than that, it's a pretty standard Sheetz - gas, microwaved food, coffee and condom machines in the rest rooms... Well, that certainly could be misconstrued - lemme clarify a bit: The coffee isn't in the rest rooms - only the condom machines are. read more

I'm originally from NJ and we didn't have any Sheetz near me. Then, in my southern travels, I came across a Sheetz and it was very exciting lol. This place has everything you need when making a rest stop: gas, food, drinks, bathroom, and even alcohol! Haha! I have never seen a convenient store sell alcohol, so that was very strange, but kind of cool at the same time. Overall, this place was clean, had a lot of snack options, and the cashiers were nice. I will definitely stop at a Sheetz again if I come across one! read more

Their bathrooms were pretty terrible in the few times we had to stop on our way up to DC. My husband and I waited exactly 27 minutes one time for our food, which was a simple order of fries and a burrito and it wasn't during a busy time. We did get an apology, but that was it. Another time we waited 15 min for mozz sticks. We stop at plenty of Sheetz locations along our travels and this is pretty much the worst one of them all. I'll stop by this sheetz anytime I'm heading south. It's a great location to gas up and grab a drink for the drive. Inside is usually very crowded and the checkout area has no room for a line longer than about 6 people. But like all other sheetz I've been to, the gas pumps are always breaking down and you can usually count on a few of them having that annoying yellow plastic bag over the handle. This one at least is better stocked than the other sheetz in the area read more

Usually a line to get gas or buy anything from inside, regardless of time of day or number of people working. We live about four miles away and the gas is cheap - and the food is reasonable and in the entire time we've lived here I've never got sick coming here (more than 8 yrs) and it's 24/7 whatever you want!! Every now and then gas pumps act up but what big gas station doesn't have that problem. I go to this same sheetz twice a year the visits being a week apart from each other. its a perfect stop due to its location on the road when we're driving for vacation. And... every year I keep asking myself why we keep stoping at this one. If it wasn't for the convenience of it, I would never got to this sheetz. Toasted sandwiches are cold, MTO stuff is always wrong, bathrooms are not up to sheetz standards (and trust me, I'm at a lot of sheetz). I love Sheetz... This one isn't the greatest. It's alright, but doesn't have as much selection as some of the larger ones I am used to. We stopped by here late at night on a Saturday and my 14 year old son and I went in to grab some snacks for him and his sister because they were hungry and we had lost track of time visiting a relative and missed dinner. In any case my son grabbed a bunch of snacks. He's an athletic kid and growing teen and can really pack it in. So he is standing in line and some 20 something guys start pointing at him and going look at that kid and all that grub, he's got the munchies... Then they said to my son, your high huh? Look at all that food... You got the munchies? You gonna get high? I was freaked out because these guys acted like they were on something. They were also being loud and cursing and I was frustrated the staff didn't ask them to leave. My 14 year old took it well.., he is 6 ft tall and most people think he is older. He just said... Nope, I'm just hungry. I think the staff should have said or done something. I won't stop here late at night again! read more

This is one of the most disgusting restrooms I have ever seen. Normally that goes without saying at gas stations- but Sheetz serves food. Lots of food, lots of people getting food... All blissfully unaware of the horror story going on fifteen feet away. Pee on the floor, broken toilets, and two out of three sinks broken. I can't imagine the people handling my food would even be capable of washing their hands here if they even try. Women's room equally as bad according to the wife. Not sure what happened to this place, but it's a train wreck!! No stock, garbage over flowing and all over the floors. The floors were covered with water from overflowing ice from the drink dispensers. The main Sheetz management needs to come and save this place. read more

This is the worst Sheetz I've ever been to, the employees aren't friendly at all. Some are rude and very stuck up and they seriously need new management. Takes forever to get your food and drinks. After you get everything you ordered almost 20/30 minutes later. read more
