You can see them freshly making everything to order (and making fresh things like tuna or chicken salad) as well. They are on the pricey side, but not much more than you would pay for something that is fried and not as high quality at a fast food restaurant. The inside has a small seating area and is well lit and maintained. I've often seen staff cleaning the tables and removing garbage. Overall, a nice location, just a bit of a challenge for parking.

GetGo seems to be helping build many along the corridor. There is a huge cluster on Route 30 in North Versailles area and that just happens to be where this location is. Not surprising in the least is that in order for this one to be built another gas station had to be torn down. Along with the old gas station (Marathon if you were wondering) a King's restaurant went away as well. Because of this, the GetGo has a large footprint in terms of land. Right at the intersection of Route 30 (Lincoln Higway) and Mosside Blvd (State Route 48) this place will naturally be busy. This location has only been open for a few weeks, maybe two months at this point. That means that everything is brand new in here and every update to a store that you see will be in here. Plenty of pumps for your gas needs. Inside is large, allowing for easy shopping for snacks and drinks. Hot food available for order through the touch screen kiosks. There is a self checkout if you are in a hurry and don't need anything from behind the counter. The one downside I see here is the sign along the road advertising the price. Giant Eagle has this thing through GetGo that if you link your checking account to your Advantage Card you get a cheaper price. They usually have that price listed first and is misleading when you are comparing prices in the area. If you do not have the checking account/Advantage Card linkage you will not receive that price.

This particular location is located in Jeannette, and it is open 24 hours per day. My husband and I needed to fill up the gas tank in our SUV with premium gasoline. A pump was available for our use, so we did not have to wait in a line of vehicles. The price of $4.999 per gallon was comparable to what other gas stations charge, and we experienced no waits or malfunctioning with the pump. Note: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can earn Perks here and later redeem them for discounts on gas and groceries. We did not use the convenience store or the GetGo Cafe, so I cannot comment on them.

To note it is at a very busy intersection on Route 30 in Jeannette. This sits between two red light intersections, on a busy day this can be quite a chore to get in and out of. With it being brand new the location has all the bells and whistles. The gas island is set off to one side of the lot making it fairly easy if you are just getting gas. There is also a free air spot for your tires. The store portion is pretty great. It has that industrial feel. It has all that you would expect to find when it comes to convenience. This location also has a fairly extensive selection of beer and wine. The hot prepared food section is rather nice looking. I cannot speak to the speed or quality of the food as I was just looking for a quick drink after fueling up my vehicle. One added bonus at this location is kind of hidden. Prior to this being a GetGo a PNC Bank sat at the location. PNC didn't completely go away. In the back right corner there sits a drive up ATM, brought to you by no other than PNC.

They have changed a few things about this spot, some for the better, some for the worse. The one huge improvement they have made is the fact that you can now pay at the pump. Prior to the changeover you had to guess-timate how much gas your car would take. Under shoot that amount and you don't get a full tank. Over shoot that amount and you had to walk back in for a refund of the difference. I was so happy to see this change as it reduced the amount of time I had to spend getting gas. Another change is that they have an expanded menu of made to order food. I cannot speak of the food as I have never had a chance to partake in any of it. I only know of this because of the bright-as-the-sun new sign they have out front. It nearly blinds you with the announcement of the deals for the day. Huge, huge negative here, the gas. I'm not sure where they get their gas from, but it is not the best out there. For me, travelling is a big part of my day, and I usually depend on a good gasoline. You think that you are getting a good deal here as it is usually the cheapest gas around for a while. Always a few cents cheaper than the Sunoco up the street, and nearly ten cents cheaper than any other gas station around. But, to me, this is a facade. I filled my gas tank up and headed on my way. Usually when I do this I can make my round trip to work and back on a little over an eighth of a tank of gas. However the day I stopped here, it took a half of tank of gas for the same travel. There were no side trips, no detours, just the same route I take daily for work. I doubt I will stop here again unless I am made aware of a change is gasoline supplier. If I am going to throw money away, I can find better places to do so rather than a gas station.
