This Sheetz was a nice place to super charge my car after making the trip home from Harrisonburg. There were plenty of chargers available (they even had a front charging station which is awesome because I hate backing up). I was driving with a bunch of girls and they loved exploring the well stocked snack aisles and icee machines which had frosty lemonade, mountain dew, blue raspberry, and cherry flavors available. Bathrooms were clean, employees were kind, and they had a few shaded tables outside to enjoy our slushies in the sunshine. It doesn't get any better than this! read more

Service in the drive thru is very slow and refresher drinks and snacks are more expensive than they should be for a gas station. The cheese curds were good, the pretzel and cheese was good! I would come back more if prices were more reasonable. read more

This was basically my last stop on my way home. With my Dad the deal was to stop for fuel and then grab a meal. One stop shop. We were all good to go. I pulled in, right up to a pump, paid at the pump and waited for the fuel to finish. Once finished I moved the vehicle and went inside. Inside I tapped the screen to order my food and made my way to the facilities. After that, I went to the cooler and grabbed a drink. Paid via the self checkout and made my way over to the pick up area and waited. There weren't many orders, but it seemed like it took forever. My Dad had his food well before mine was called and we ordered at the same time. I know they may have gotten outside orders as well, but I'm in shop and waiting. When I did get my food I had all intentions to eat in house, but my Dad had already devoured his food before mine was even ready. Which led to me having to take my food to go. Wouldn't have been too bad, but with the 'newer' paperboard containers it doesn't transfer too well. If it doesn't fall apart, your food will stick to it. Which mine did, scraping tater tots off of paper is no fun. read more

The Sheetz in Woodstock Virginia has gone to hell! The last couple of times that I have gone there to order MTO, it's inedible! If I order a warm sub, I would like the bread to be warm, not toasted to the point to where I am unable to take a bite from the bread due to it being do hard. Also, it takes forever to receive your order. We are all Sheetz customers, so the customers in the store should not get privilege over the customers at the drive thru, they should be altered back and forth, which they're not. I'm not one to review pit-stops, since we really only stopped here to use the restrooms, however this location upset me so much I felt obligated. When entering, there are multiple signs urging 'Masks Required" & Social Distance please. However the Sheetz employees were not enforcing anything. About six different patrons were inside maskless, w/cashiers waiting on them, and nobody saying anything. Nobody asked them to put on a mask, nobody asked them to leave, nobody enforced not clustering around the to-order areas. Just a shame. read more

Sheetz over Wawa any day! I give it 4 stars as far as gas station food goes. Let's not kid ourselves, it's not 4 star restaurant, but it will do. The thing I really like is the number of options. There is something for everyone. Where I live, we only have WaWa (south jersey). So I take every chance I can to get Sheetz when I'm around one. I love Sheetz but this location is so far below par. Unfriendly staff and some of them seem like they hate their jobs so much I want to ask why they're working there at all. MTO is fine and food usually what's ordered, but you better be close when they mumble your number. If they say anything at all. This is an easy on/off I-81 access in either direction. They also have a drive-thru for food if you're in a hurry. It can be a little chaotic during Christmas season at the traffic light. The bathrooms are always clean. read more

Good ole Sheetz; so many memories... Driving down Water street, (through the barricades, before it was even finished and was still a dirt road) at 3 in the morning, just to get some cigarettes. Buying 15 bags of ice for a keg party and taking 25 (sorry Sheetz, I was young and Im making up for it now with a stellar review). Rushing down to your parking lot after school for numerous fights. "Me and you, after school, at Sheetz!" Was a sentence we loved to hear; except for when it was said to us. Not to mention the countless late night munchie trips- which brings me to my rating. Had I reviewed you years ago, Im not sure you would've gotten all five stars. Now that you have a drive-thru though, well that brings you to the upper echelon. Being the only late night (24 hour) food option within 15 miles, for well over a decade was great- But now, not having to go inside, with your overbearing fluorescent lights blinding my crimson-colored eyes, and subjecting me to judgement as well as forcing me to feign interest in conversing with people whom I haven't seen nor spoken to in years... I usually go out of my way to stop at Sheetz on road trips and today was no exception. The lure of delicious 24-hour food, clean bathrooms and good customer service keeps me coming back. This Sheetz was above and beyond a regular Sheetz experience. First of all, the place was SUPER clean. There were employees vacuuming and cleaning the floors more intensely than I've ever cleaned my own floors, and man, those bathrooms--SO sparkly. They have the standard enormous soft drink station and the signature milk shake machine (which I will someday let myself indulge in...). Food and drink selection is solid. The best part of this Sheetz has to be the customer service. These employees are genuinely happy to serve you. They definitely brightened my day...and probably even the day of the grumpy man in front of me in line. Thank you Sheetz. Keep it up. read more

I usually get sheetz pretty frequently. This time the food was not prepared very well. The smoothie had whole ice chunks in it and the burger tasted just disgusting and the bun had brown spots on it. The burger meat also had some white spots in it. Ive gotten burgers from other locations, so maybe its just the employees here. read more

I didn't have a great experience here, my 2 issues were with staff and food. We stopped on our way back from Maryland and needed the restroom. A lady was cleaning it but there was no closed sign up. We popped our head in to ask if we could still use it and she rudely stated "the floor is wet and will be wet for a long time". We decided to order first, then check back. The food we ordered, subs, that I get a lot in Harrisonburg Sheetz, we're pathetically small. Like seriously, there was almost nothing on the sandwich and was very disappointing for my hungry kids. This review is primarily about the drive through. For Sheetz to have a drive thru for food is just plain dumb. It just doesn't work. Its not like McDonalds where you order a #1 and just take it and go. Those places usually have a few burgers already made and ready to go. But, that isn't possible at Sheetz. At this particular store, the drive thru is slower than molasses in the winter time. Every order is practically a "special" order. The food is made to order thus preventing any type of preparation for orders. Then, you add the limited manpower which has the drive through employees working both the drive through AND the front register too. Dont get me started on the "convenience items". Like, if you smoke, you could probably use the cardio of walking inside to get them and you Mountain Dew. Either add more employees or close this sorry excuse of a drive through down. Heather, Store Manager extremely rude, disrespectful and refused to be helpful. Stepdaughter was turned away with a $50 e-gift card that her dad and I sent for her birthday. She was told they don't accept them. Just called spoke with the Manager and she said she has never heard of them. I suggested she call another store or look it up. The store should be aware and able to process these not send customers away because they never heard of it. Not even take the time to educate themselves to execute their jobs and display the best possible job performance. It's unfortunate that a Manager not care about executing not even the lowest level of customer service to give customers what they have paid for. This manager flat out refused to look into the possibility that Sheetz egift cards exist. I have sent 4 and this is the first time there has been a problem. And for the manager to say she has not heard of it and refuse to look into it, is RIDICULOUS!. The embarrassment to the customer getting to the front of the line with a purchase and have the barcode opened on their phone just to have the csr say we never heard of it, we are not going to accept it, instead of taking the time then to look into how it works and getting it processed so that you not turn the next person away.
