Being a member definitely has huge perks when it comes to shopping in the store and getting discounts on gas. I love the fountain and the ability to customize drink flavors. When I need my cherry vanilla Dr Pepper, this is the place to go! Hot food has been hit and miss. When they opened, the bosco sticks were PERFECT. They declined for a bit, but seem to be better again. Today I tried a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The best part of that was that it seemed to be made of better ingredients. Unfortunately the biscuit was really dry, and most of the cheese had melted onto the wrapper, so what I wound up with was a dry bacon and egg biscuit sandwich, really. On my last 2 visits I haven't seen any pretzels in the pretzel machine, so I don't know if they still sell them or not. I still recommend this place. The folks that own it want it to be the best place around, and it pretty much is. My only other knock is the donut selection. All they offer are glazed donuts. No frosted, no custard... just glazed. I went in to buy a giftcard to use when i got home from my busy day. I got home went to redeem it…read moreand it gave me an error saying the card wasn't activated. i looked at my receipt and it says the card was activated. i walk back to the circle k (now 4 hours after i bought it) tell this old guy at the counter and show him the receipt, the giftcard, and tell him the issue. he then tells me i need to give him ANOTHER $35 to activate the card. i told him and pointed to the receipt saying i did that already when i ORIGINALLY CAME IN TO BUY THE CARD. he then tells me he cant do anything and needs the money in order to activate the card THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. he had the biggest attitude and told me it wasnt an issue for him and if i wanted anything to be done to come back later when the manager was here. DONT TRY BUYING GIFTCARDS HERE YOU WILL POTENTIALLY BE SCAMMED!

There is usually a deal on candy bars running, and there are always 4-5-6 dollar meal deals. I got a little gas in my car and a $6 meal that included the angus,bacon,cheddar and jack burger, fries, and a polar pop. Generally speaking I hold gas station hot food to a fairly low standard. The Tornadoes were often pretty good, but the sandwiches anywhere were kind of meh. This was a GOOD burger! Of course the patty had that preserved taste to it, but that's just what to expect. The kicker was the hit from the cheddar jack cheese. That was SO GOOD! Everyone that works there is SO helpful and very nice. The only notes I have that are a bit more critical are that the donuts are a bit too sweet, and they've stopped carrying macadamia cookies. I'm dying for this place to expand, but they may be locked in. Keep an eye on the price tags. For a while, some candy bars were 3.79, but the shelf tag read 3.29. This place still gets 5 stars. A lot of businesses just look like crap because they are so busy. This place is as busy as any, and they always keep it looking good.

This one white female worker will only speak to whites and not blacks and will not sit there to make sure they pay for their stuff. Now I have been seeing this going on more than once and she is not the only one that is being racist.
