Great Service and Price. Customer Service a little Gruff…read more Other than that great place to get car serviced.

Here recently because I felt that I had made a customer connection with him, Mr. Young , I decided to bring my car back to him because the car had no issues other than the door locks and I had figured that wouldn't cost much to change a fuse or two. My car ran smoothly without any problems and there were no service indicator lights on my dash at all....NONE! The only reason I brought my car to him this time was because of my door locks. I could lock and unlock my car but only manually. I took it to Young to fix that only. The door locks. I was charged $574. My husband picked the car up and called me immediately after leaving the lot to say that the speedometer wasn't registering. I said to my husband to take it right back to him. My husband turned around and took it back. Young told him to leave the car but that it wouldn't be worked on that day because he was the only mechanic there. My husband didn't leave it because he had no way home. The very next day at 7:15 in the morning I was sitting in Young's lot waiting for them to open - to talk with Young. After talking to him he had assured me that he would fixed the speedometer problem and he did. However, this time while driving home I decided to stop at the grocery store only to realized that the car was having problems backing up and that on the dash was these letters - ESP-BAS and that the icon with the wiggling lines on it kept popping back on no matter how many times I turned it off. I immediately called Young , told him this and he asked could I bring it back that same day. Again I told him that it would have to be in the morning because I didn't have a ride home. I also asked Young how much would that cost. He said there wouldn't be a charge for that. I took my car the next morning as I said I would. Young called me the next day and said that he had some good news and some bad news. I asked for the good news and he said that the car could be fixed but that I would need to pay $290. I exclaimed what happened? You said that there was no charge. He said he knew that but that he had to call some guy in to recalculate the computer for $290. I left my car again. This time he said that my car was ready to be picked up but that the back up issue was a new issue that would cost me $800. At this point I'm confused. What did the computer have to do with the back up issue that wasn't there before I took my car to him about the door locks ? I'm not a mechanic but shouldn't that have been a minor fuse or fuses change? Somebody please help me with this one. And by the way, my car back up issue still exists. This all happened over a two weeks period.
