So I am writing this update in regards to the card reader situation. I did reach out to Navy Federal so that they can issue me a new card. So far the card seems to be working, but apple pay does not when I use this specific card. So I am not dinging them for the card reader at this time but it does seem to be isolated to this Royal Farms in general. No issues with my other cards or when I use this card anywhere else. I will raise my review 1 star. However, the other issues I mentioned still stand. read more

Greetings, this is a formal grievance This message is for Ms. Octavia, manager over Germminey. I have several complaints on how My Grandson is scheduled to work over night when his is in High school and just turning 18 (child labor laws), I also have questions on why the store isn't paying employees their correct wages when working 40 plus hour I.E daughter and grandson, Granted you have made him supervisor but it is not his responsibility to be wakened out of his sleep to cover an overnight shift when he has school in the morning. this is very concerning as a parent to have my family members working hard only to get paid less hours then worked, Is Germinney stealing time she constantly advises her employees she will correct the time and here it is 2 months later and it still occurring. I also would like information on why it is mandatory to be forced to stay and work do to employees doing no call no shows and the manager not informing her crew or asking if they are willing to stay or willing to cover these shifts herself. Also, when calling and asking for corporate or District Managers name or contact info, why must we be given attitude on why we need the number why is it hard for the manager to complete the request. I will also be sending a letter to the better business bureau. I have several instances where my children have been working 40 plus hours and only getting paid for 24 and forced to stay until 2-3am in the morning. This is unacceptable, I look forward to receiving communication on how, to resolve this matter without the need for further escalation to the BBB or Md Dept of labor or business complaint to the Attorney general of Maryland. read more

It's a Royal Farms. The prices are reasonable but the airpumps are always vandalized. There is a constant flow of trash blowing around. The staff more often that not happy. Oh and looking over your shoulder because of vermin. The chicken is good if they have changed the oil, you can smell it from a mile away. I come for gas, food, grocery knick-knacks, and air for tires. They have 2 air pumps; one free, the other a pay air/vac. The free pump doesn't have a gauge to access the pressure, and for over 2 weeks both pumps have been down. The other local air pump is Wawa, who has one, free (nice) pump. I'm no fan of royal farms! But I stumbled upon this location looking for a bathroom. As you can see from my pictures the bathroom is actually cleaner than the floor throughout the store. I'm not sure how that happens. It was a late and rainy night and I decided it was time to try the fried chicken. It was good. I got a great and chicken fingers. I lovingly call this location 'Club Royal Farms' because it is always PACKED. The gas prices at this royal farms are great, lower than some of the other gas stations in the area. It still feels fairly new as the staff keep the place (both interior and exterior) pretty clean. Club Royal Farms is always crowded, no matter what time of day or day of the week. The traffic and the wait times just to get to a pump is the worst part of my experience at this station. I'm not sure this location was designed with heavy traffic in mind as the car flows often get stuck with only one entrance/exit. The chicken and fries are solid, a good option on the way home on those late nights that I can't muster the energy to cook. I'll continue to make this my weekly gas fill up spot...and pray that I can get to a pump quickly! read more

I was told on Friday early morning around 2am that they no longer sold tobacco after 10pm. I asked since when? Because I stop here often after work for tobacco. The guys behind the fried chicken line said it's been like that for about two months now. Complete lie. The chicken bowls $$$ The location has been great then bad and then the cycle repeats. Currently good. The chicken and wedges are pretty much always great. This time I wanted to try the chicken bowl. I got the mashed potato one. $6.99 and it looks nothing like the picture (although nothing ever does) very little potatoes and comes with no gravy ($1.xx more). This location is probably the worst I've been to out of 8 or so, I regularly stop in mornings during the week, somehow it takes up to 15 minutes to put out a simple breakfast sandwich the level of confusion with the food prep staff is obvious sometimes escalating into verbal arguments. Last night, the Family decided they wanted to go to royal farms for dinner. We went in and everything was going pretty smooth. It was a short wait but nothing to really complain about. When we got home, all hell broke loose. Everyone's food was disgusting in taste!! The 5 piece tenders were severely overcooked, you could hardly rip them apart to dip. The 3 piece tenders was really a one piece tender meal. The 3 tenders that were put in were not even close to the usual tenders that are given out. And then my food, the person who spend $30+ at this establishment had the worse possible food! My 3 wing meal was absolutely horrendous. One of my wings was cooked so hard I could not break it apart at all. It took 3 different people in my house hold to break this wing. It was not edible, why are we serving food to paying costumers that is not edible?!? The other two wings were not cooked hard enough, almost like the chicken was under fried. Then the wedges were good but once I got to the middle of my box it was two (2) brown stains of hair in my wedges!!!! I can not tell you how disgusted I was with my food and extremely upset I spent this amount of money here. TheKrispy Kreme doughnuts that I got for dessert was the best part of the meal!! I had the 3 piece chicken tender meal with French fries and a drink. It was reasonably priced. And the food was very good. The chicken were bigger than I'm used to but that's all good for the younger generation. And the self service kiosks are very difficult to work if you never been there before so I highly recommend you ask for help from an employee if it's your first time visiting this place. It's in a great location and the place is super clean. The workers are not very friendly and they definitely do not greet you nor do they smile. They all look like life has been treating them rough. Better customer service and more cashiers is much needed. Then I will reevaluate my 4 star ruling and give this place 5 stars. this is my normal gas stop. my experiences here are ususally good. but recently not so good. there are two people there (a cashier and the person who works at the coffee station) who I usually see in the morning but I don't know their names. They are so nice and professional. on this particular day they were not there. I have never seen the people that were there on this day. The line was mega long and there was only one cashier working. There were two staff standing off to the side just talking. one of them just looked at the line and kept talking. I figured one of them have to at least be a cashier and help out. Nope, they just kept talking for another five minutes or so. Soon one of them comes out and walks off. I cannot believe this is happening during a morning rush hour.
