On 2023 Christmas Day, I was down to 2 bars on the gas gauge in my car prior to heading home. I prefer to have the gas tank to be half full even if it means I have to spend a little bit more. And that's what happened. I pulled into this Shell gas station on Sierra Ave. Regular was at $4.55 per gallon and that is considered a tad high compared to $3.90ish at other gas places nowadays. Well, at least it's cheaper than before when it was at $5-$6 per gallon. I pumped gas and paid at pump #9. Unfortunately, I missed the receipt message so I didn't get a receipt and that's okay. They have a food mart with Del Taco next door. I didn't go into neither. Exterior was clean. Only gripe is the price. Nevertheless, I am grateful for its convenient location. If I could put zero stars I would. Today I had a very upsetting experience at this location. First, there was to latch on the handle to keep it pumping by itself, so I had to manually hold it for the entire time I had to fill it. Second, there must have been a bee hive somewhere close because there were bees swarming me and my car. I am severely allergic to bees. And, I couldn't go to another station because I had already payed at that one. They were getting close to me and I couldn't run away because the pump had to be manually pumped. I ended up in tears having a panic attack. And no attendent came to help. This location should take care of that problem and fix the stopper on the handle. It's abouslutely read more

I like this gas station and food Mart. It's always really clean and I like that the Del Taco is connected to it. I was blown away with my service from the cashier. Very friendly and I mentioned that my son's birthday was tomorrow and he gave him a present! I could see this happening in Tennessee, but this is definitely some thing that he will remember. Yesterday I stopped into this gas station. I was actually really impressed by the level of customer service that the guy on duty was able to give, and I had been thinking about it ever since. His name is Steve, and despite being the only employee working there he was able to give each person (9 of us at the time) the kind of communication and service we needed. He multitasked really well, and I will be a regular here for when I travel to see my parents in Apple Valley from now on. The assistant manager Tina is very rude and lacks some serious customer service skills. While waiting in line for my turn to cash in lotto scratchers, as soon as I handed them to her, she said, Im going to help the people behind you because this will take a bit. I had 10 scratchers with which I was just going to exchange for more. I guess it doesn't matter if you are a repeat customer, or how much money that you spend in this store each time you stop here or it doesn't matter what place you hold in line. It would have been different if she asked politely if I minded that she help the two customers behind me, instead of TELLING me in front of the other customers that is what she is going to do. So, apparently, I had extra time to burn while she helped those behind me without asking. How do these people become assistant managers? When the other gentleman arrived, he immediately took over helping me. When I asked if he was the manager, before he could answer, she interrupted saying" I am an assistant manager too". Seriously. When do the appropriate people actually get the position in which they are paid more money with the customer service skills the job should require? I have been helped by the gentleman a few times and I can honestly say, he deserves to be Manager instead of assistant. Exceptional customer service skills. Not lacking in the least. I sincerely hope the owner of this store reads his/her reviews. I'm sure it's not the first time Tina has pushed good customers to the way side because she thinks it doesn't matter what place you hold in line. If I could give this place a -star I would! The service today was HORRIBLE! I authorized 2 different pumps before going in to see what was going on with the pumps! I was told I had to pay inside so I handed Jessyca my credit card. She rudely tells me she needed my ID! I'm like DAMN it's NEVER been this hard to pump freaking gas! I walk all the way back to my car get my ID a gentleman was nice enough to let me ahead of him because I understood my frustration. I handed Jessyca my credit card and ID to her in her hands and she throws my card and Id on the counter top instead of handing it back to me in my hand. I slid my card and Id back to her and said I gave you the information you requested in you in your hand, hand me my stuff back to me in my hand. She picked it up and told me to get the fuck out. I told her I was going to have her ignorant ass job tomorrow! I go to the pump and I STILL could not get gas! My sister went in because I was so upset at this point that I'm going through all this trouble to get gas and there is 2 other gas stations right there! My sister goes in to talk to her and she tells her that she cancelled my gas that she refused to serve me! Cool! I went right over to Chevron and got a MUCH better quality gas for a few cents more!
