Well, Baytown Buc-ees was my 4th in a series of stops around the southern United States. My only…read moreregret was not stopping at the one in MS, but I really wanted stop in Biloxi and get to New Orleans. I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol

I love Buc-ee's!! I have been to this location many times and appreciate the clean restrooms and…read moreyummy snacks. You can literally buy anything here...food, drinks, clothes, souvenirs, candles, etc. Some of my favorites are the beaver nuggets, glazed nuts, and Buc-ee's OverBite (Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter). And I have always had good service!

I've heard that the food from the steam table is good. I stopped in around 11:30 a.m. today…read more(6/03/19) and they still had really good looking breakfast taco fillings along with lunch taco fillings. I opted for their taco meal deal special that they had advertised on their storefront -- 2 tacos + 1 churro for $5.00. When I arrived to the counter, despite three clerks' efforts, they could not get the register to ring up my food to total $5.00 + tax. They assured me that the extra $1.50 must be...TAX... (crickets chirping) No telling how long they have been overcharging patrons the extra money while they thought they were getting that advertised special. The clerks had no knowledge of how to get the register to ring up the food properly--so its really alarming to think of how many people over pay on a daily basis. I'm not entirely sure that I will be back after that experience. If I have to go in and haggle to get charged properly, it's so not worth my time.

This is always a pretty decent convenience store to stop by when I'm needing to obey my thirst…read more Less than a dollar for a fountain drink. Waaay less than the bottled drinks. I work on this side of town, so my observations are for M-F, but the lines are pretty swift because they have several people behind the counter. I may have gotten gas herr one time, but it must have been okay. Do not remember it being bad and causinf mechanical malfunctions to my vehicle. I have been tempted to buy some of the food items here. They have a delicatessen thats sells more mexican inspired entrees, or towards the middle of the store youll find more american entrees like sandwiches, hotdogs, and even fried chicken! Looked pretty good too! In any case, this convenience store is a great place to get some gas, a refreshment or snack, and be out of lickety split!
