This review is purely for the car wash. I'm sure the staff is hardworking and full of decent human beings. The gas has gotten me home but I can't speak for the taste. Anyway, I took in a brand new 2017 Taurus into the car wash. After, going through the car wash I saw DEEP SCRATCHES ON MY HOOD. No amount of buffing will get these out. These scratches are incredibly deep and span the length of 2 feet all across my hood. It looks like someone took the spine of a spiral edge notebook and went to town on my hood. :( Now this is a Taurus. A regular looking car with no spoiler, antenna, or anything crazy added. If it can do this much damage to a sedan, I can't imagine what it would be like in a large truck or SUV. This location is pretty close as it is literally two minutes away from my home. I go to this location when I don't want to wait in the long ridiculous lines for Costco gas. This location definitely is more expensive but I guess you pay for the convenience of being in and out very promptly. I definitely use the car wash Because I never feel like sitting around and waiting at a hand car wash lol They do have a new and improved car wash that has been there for a couple of months and it does a pretty good job. I definitely agree with the other review about the curb when you were exiting the car wash. You definitely have to be very careful, otherwise you can scratch your rim or damage your car because you don't see it. The drying time is definitely not enough. You only get about a minute and a half and typically you have to pull over and hand dry certain areas of your preference. This is not a big deal to me because it is still convenient and the fact that I don't have to wait for long periods of time is what I appreciate. I hardly ever go inside the store but the one or two times that I have gone inside, the workers don't appear to like their job very much. They don't greet you nor are they friendly. read more

Here is what happened.... I had a $20 bill , after purchasing some hot cheetos , the cashier Gloria gave me $16.50 back. I gave Gloria three $5 bills and said I wanted $15 gas for number 7. The gas stopped at $11 so I came in to ask them why it stopped at $11 when I paid $15? Gloria was inside the bathroom for 5-10 minutes , she finally came out and told me that I only gave her two $5 bills and a $1 bill. I told her nope, I clearly gave you $15 but she kept on denying it. I could have asked for a manager or request to look at the camera but I didn't want to waste my time just for $4 =.= so I told her to just keep the money I don't have time for this. The Chevron across 880 is ridiculously expensive, and I refuse to put Vallero gas in my car. This Shell is reasonablely priced. It is GENERALLY on the cheaper side. They also have a mechanical car wash here which didn't work too well. I took my SUV through the carwash for a quick wash after tahoe, but it didn't get really clean.. This place has the highest gas prices. I assume because it's close to a major freeway. But this review is based on the gas clerk inside. Some of the workers are rude. And one night, my boyfriend came to get gas super late, and since they close the doors after a certain at night, you have to go through the window. TL;DR 1. If you're here for gas, dunno why you would be reading a review :X Gas Buddy! lol. 2. If you're here for the car wash....DON'T DO IT. It might break down and trap you inside its dripping insides. Ick. 3. Coin-operated vacuum is broken and doesn't do its job. The mechanical car wash broke down twice early (~10:30am) on a Saturday. I pulled up to do the car wash, but an employee was inside waving at me to stop. He said that the car wash was broken, and that he was going to fix it. When I asked how long the repair would take, he said, dunno, a few minutes? So...I waited about 10 minutes, and then saw 2 cars pull into the wash driveway (which by the way, is extremely narrow). One went inside (I'm assuming that the employee 'fixed' the wash at one point) and started the wash cycle......then got stuck, as 5 more cars pull into the car wash drive-thru, one after another. So the employee has to go to car by dirty car to let the people know that someone's stuck inside the wash, and that the pileup is probably going to take awhile (and no one can even back up through that incredibly curved driveway). Meanwhile... 2. I kept watching this drama unfold from the sidelines at the vacuum area, because during my 10 minute wait to see whether or not the employee fixed the car wash, I decided that my car seriously needed vacuuming when I saw the two giant coin-operated vacuums by the air/water station. $1.50 for 4 min with a giant vacuum sounded like a good idea at the time..until I went inside to get change (quarters-only machine). As the lady at the counter gave me change, she told me that one of the vacuums wasn't working. I asked if the one closer to the car wash was the one that wasn't working, and she said that it was probably the one to the left (further from the wash)...... Yupp. Wasted $1.50 because the pressure of the sucking was just terrible. Didn't pick up anything, and when I held it to my palm, all I could feel was a faint swirling of air. Extra fail. .... But when we go through it, it keeps showing green light, and at last, the front of of our car is not being washed... and the dryer is located at the exit, u need to move your car slowly in order to dry your whole car. "STAY AWAY" "YOU WILL GET SCREWED"So I come here around midnight on 12/22/19 and I go inside and purchase some candy and a $11 car wash because the outside card reader would not read my card so I had to go inside. The guy was nice I get my candy and I get my car wash I get my receipt I walk out the door. Go to my car put the code in the car wash and I drive in there. The machine is inconsistent as hell it doesn't seem like it knows what it's doing. It isn't programmed right! So it gets done "washing my car" and I'm pulling out of the car wash to have the machine now dry my car and I look up at the meter to see how much time I have left and it's not showing you your dry time you have left! "Blank screen" so apparently you have to guesstimate how much time you have and hopefully your car gets dry in time.
