We picked up some rather anemic turkey sandwiches. When opened, it turned out that they cleverly packed the middle of the sandwich to look like there was more turkey than the two or so slices that you actually received. The edges of the sandwich were almost devoid of turkey. The food selection is your basic convenience-store offerings: a few sandwiches, burritos, chips, candy, soda, and coffee. The attendant was friendly, and the store was clean. While I can't recommend the turkey sandwiches, we were glad that Henny Penny was so convenient. If there hadn't been hanky-panky with the turkey sandwiches, I would have given them four stars. To be fair, though, that's the first sandwich I have ever bought at a convenience store. So maybe it's typical.

They also had bags of ice (which we needed for our wine bag) and a full liquor store selection (my husband picked up a bottle of bourbon after finding one that he couldn't live without). It's a well-maintained and fully stocked Grocery Store, there's the usual floral department, but it's the Deli, seafood, and bakery that are the Stars of show. The quality, variety and diversity of the products they have is impressive. It reminds me of the old Balducci's in the Village (NYC). Employees, who knew their products, could explain to you what it was, give you recipes, and who knew a happy customer returns over and over again.
