This is the closest gas station to my house and is most convenient. Today, the inside was closed again during Prime day hours. When I did come back later, I told the attendant it seems closed more than op and he said, "you should probably find a new spot." That was it for me. Came here to get a car wash and paid $12 for the "Extreme Car Wash". Their outdated wash tunnel was underwhelming and left simple to remove dust from my Toyota Camry's smooth wheels. Forget the no-name gas station directly across the street, they charge the same exact price as Shell does. Just go straight here. It's close to the 680 South freeway entrance, and you can watch how much money you lost in the stock market on those flat screen TV's on top of the gas pump while you're filling up your tank. read more

This Shell station is one of their newer models. It has clean modern lines, multiple bays, a nicely stocked mini-mart, a car wash, and TV screens on the pumps. It's also convenient to access and get out. And now that gasoline is again below $4 a gallon, this station's prices are competitive with the Grand station across the street. I also appreciate that I can move my car out of the way and spend a little more time measuring the various vehicle fluids and refilling as needed. read more

A few weeks back I had washed my car at this gas station and the night attendant indicates they have B5G1 and he ran out of punch cards to identify purchase. He said to save my receipt NO EXPIRATION to qualify punch purchase. I said great and held on to receipt! Today I was denied the punch worth $8. I also had a bunch of groceries too today. So I left my stuff. Didn't get my car washed, and they have lost a committed customer. Customer service is my business. The WORST experience at a gas station. First of all the pump took FOREVER to get it to start pumping gas. Then I finally get to the point where I can buy the car wash and when I select the one I want I mark yes for a receipt and the machine says I need to see the attendant. I have a sleeping toddler in the car I CANT go in. I press the help button multiple times and no one comes out. I get in my car and drive up to the door go in and ask for my receipt and surprise surprise the car wash code is not on it. I ask about it and the attendant insists that I didn't select a car wash. I have been there multiple times hoping that there was just a bad streak of events but today was the cherry on the cake! Conveniently right off the freeway and next to a lot of late night eats. I think there's a Denny's and an In N Out right nearby. It's a high traffic area so it's not too sketchy and we noticed some large police presence busting on someone as we were leaving. However, if you're willing to go a few blocks north, the Safeway is definitely cheaper, just go during off hours cause I hear it gets crazy over there. read more

I always get car washes here, and the price is really good even just for a drive thru wash. It's equally as good as paying for a hand wash. Today the cashier that usually helps me out, named Milal (I dont know how to spell it) helped me to understand that I get a percentage off my gas if I buy them together. I really appreciated that. My company regularly fills up here with gas, spending countless amounts of money every week. Completely fed up with rude service. I try my best to lead with being polite and patient, but today was it. I needed air in both rear tires. Took me a min to get over into their small spots. Got one tire filled then the compressor turned off. I ran back in and politely asked if i could please get it turned back on. Nope, the response I got was " NO! You get 1 free air, thats all! Something went wrong in there and my truck only got wet and washed on only the rear half of my truck. I love the car wash here but the other day i went through and all the car wash really did was clear the dust and leave water streaks. I'm always very satisfied with my car wash at this location. WARNING: NEVER ever get a car wash here. Their machine is in terrible condition, poorly maintained and malfunctions. During the wash, it stopped mid cycle. Informed the Filipino owner and she belittled me saying it's my fault and didn't know how to drive into the car wash. You drive in when the light is green and you stop when the light turns red. Done. Additionally, the worker outside said I did it correctly. Then the owner looked at him like "STFU!" They allowed me to try it again and it stopped mid cycle again. Came back to the owner who then says it's my fault again because my truck is too low when it's stock height!!!!! FYI, she made it a point to say it's MY FAULT over and over again. So she lets me try it again and that because it's a stick shift, I needed to turn the engine off once I'm inside (NEVER HAD TO DO THIS BEFORE). Also, I always bring my truck here, then she tells me I've never been here before. Who the fuck taught this tool about customer service? I just said give me a refund so I can go somewhere else. She had to because my truck is now soaking in soap, but it was only a PARTIAL refund. She NEVER said sorry for the inconvenience either. She stuck to her story of it being my fault. Talk about begging to go out of business. Everyone please go to the super car wash across the street. Full service hand drying for a couple dollars more. Hell, don't even get gas at this shell. I buy gas here twice a week. On Saturdays I get the car wash with the gas. I put my code in to start the car wash. I drive in the water cleans the under car, then the car wash stops. I drive out and go inside and tell the lady clerk what happened. She gives me a new code and I drive around to the car wash and input the new code. This time I get as far as the rainbow soap on the car and the car wash shuts down. I drive out and go back inside the store. I tell the lady clerk what happened again. She say is this your first time here using this. I said no I come here every weekend. No you input code wrong, I can't help you. You don't know how to use car wash. You have to pay now. I told her I did nothing wrong. I put the code in like I do every other time I have been here to use the car wash. The worst customer service I have ever had guys. The pump was broken, it did not stop when tank was full of gas, it was fountaining over my car, manager charged me for the spill extra $30 and refused to returned it back. After contacting the owner Mojgan Anvari 510-224-6922 I even was more upset because he also refused to pay spilled oil money explaining me 'he would not survive' if he will pay. Both manager and owner were very rude. I am contacting shell claim department and BBB to help me to resolve issue.
