I am a bit partial to this location because it's close to home. But, if you combine all the amenities of a location that serves the trucking industry well, this is the location.Fuel at a reasonable price. A Subway, or in my opinion the Deli for great sandwiches and meals. A convenience store, showers and even a ILLINOIS DMV on site. The MAGGIO shop out back may be a bit pricey as everyone will attest to. But, if they fix your problem you won't need that problem fixed again. Not to mention the world's greatest recovery fleet. From pulling your car out of a ditch to putting a train back on the track. They do it. I am proud to know these people but, I am not related to them. Stopped for gas and to use the restroom. The bathroom was clean and was very pleased, BUT there wasn't an ounce of soap to wash your hands. 3 sinks/3 soap dispensers: 1 soap dispenser with a broken handle, 2nd dispenser no soap dispenser under the sink attached to the handle, 3rd one - NO SOAP. During a pandemic! Asked the girl at Subway if there was another bathroom - there wasn't. Told her there wasn't any soap in the women's restroom. She seemed confused as to what she could do to solve the problem. Where does she wash her hands?! Something to think about if you consider buying a sub sandwich there. Yuck! read more

The truck stop has lost of parking for big trucks, has a subway in itas well, there are 7 showers and 7 fuel lanes as well. They make home made pies and cookies to. The people are very friendly and love to visit with customers. The hole truck stop is very clean and the store is easy to get around. read more

This was a really nice one-stop shop! Truckers have some random things like log sheets and stuff they can get here (and there were a lot of regulars that were truckers here.) It was even attached to a DMV which I thought was odd. I've never seen that before! The people were very friendly! This is clearly a great place to be a regular! They were being called by name! There was also an extremely clean bathroom. Great place to make a pit stop! read more
