Pretty new loves, easy parking, big lot with lots of maneuverability. Showers appear clean but happened to notice they haven't swept or mopped under the little table or under the sink, dust bunnies and toenail clippings just sitting there. Its a nice sized shower but how long it'll stay nice looking with cleaning practices like this is anyone's guess. read more

I asked max (I know his name because another employee called him) to help me check if there was nacho cheese and he looked at me and literally said "fuck, you're going to have to wait" apparently it was such an inconvenience for him to stop doing nothing behind the counter and actually work. He wasn't doing anything, otherwise I wouldn't have asked lol I did notice he was the only cashier and I've never seen less than 2 at a Loves stop...so maybe he was frustrated? Idk I'm just trying to find a good excuse but regardless someone should teach the shithead how to talk to people if he's going to work here. brand new loves pretty much like all the other loves still one of the newer concept ones with more electronics and stuff. did not feel as a very very large parking lot which is a good thing of course out here in Rochelle there's so much cold storages and facilities lots and lots of trucking through here for years and years. del Monte ConAgra you name it most all your big food places Procter & Gamble and more I'll have a facility out here it seems... so far it's well kept cuz it's brand new LOL give it some time we'll see what happens. good sign is the garbage cans work clean in the parking lot in the perimeter and you're the fuel islands so that means that they are doing their job which is nice.. lot of selections here with the the deli now they got the salads and more fruit and stuff at this one remove some of the stock some of these new plans are set up that way.. jealousy what happens if I come back here eventually and review it again if it stays that way or not keep up the good work for starters read more

This is a newer truck stop, which I like because it's cleaner than the others. I could also get off the highway without a toll. It is a good place for getting everything you would expect: food, gas, drinks, and a bathroom break. When I walked in, I was greeted by two workers with smiles on their faces...nice touch. I'm a little OCD about clean hands and was happy that the bathroom door opened out so I don't have to touch anything after washing my hands. The best part about this truck stop? They have DARK ROAST COFFEE. I have a hard time finding anywhere along I88 that has coffee as strong as I like it. They also had my favorite kind of Twizzlers, which are hard to find in most gas stations and truck stops - bonus points! Overall, going forward I will be planning my trip to stop here for my breaks. read more

I was at the new Rochelle, IL location. I added gas to my vehicle. I chose 87 octane. I looked at my receipt and I was charged the highest octane price, which was over $0.70 more per gallon. Before I went in to talk with the manager, as a test, I ran my card through again and noticed that only the 2 lower octanes had a blue light lit on their buttons. The highest octane button did not have its blue light lit. I picked 87 octane again but again I was charged the highest octane price. I went in and talked with the Operational Manager. I told him about my previous test and even offered to have him come out so he could see a test firsthand. Which he refused. He told me he was sure I received the highest octane fuel(how did he know that) and that since I have that fuel in my tank, he would be unable to refund me the difference. I told him that was unacceptable and after continued conversation he agreed to give me the difference in cash. Which he did, but with a disdainful attitude. As he retrieved my cash from the register, he went on to tell me that he had called in for pump maintenance the day before. I then asked him if they have been ripping people off since yesterday. He said no, and that it was for a fuel flow issue. But I feel I wasn't getting the full story. read more
