We weren't certain what they'd have left but we had several options. Today I got to indulge in the strawberry donut with buttercream frosting and the OG chocolate donut with sprinkles. The OG was a denser cake, somewhat between a donut and piece of cake with chocolate frosting. The blueberry and strawberry donut were softer but still had chew before it melted in my mouth. Loved my Vietnamese coffee - flavorful and not too sweet. They had a lot of drink options, including a seasonal menu. I left with a thick slice of banana bread with sesame. Can't wait to eat it because I've heard wonderful things about the flavor. Service was amazing. We enjoyed speaking with the owners / workers. It's a small space and has a lot of energy at the counter. They handled the crowd well and our food was boxed, drinks made quickly. A few tables and wall bench provide seating plus patio tables. It tastes very fresh and is a decent portion size, but in terms of flavor there wasn't much going on. It tastes like "greens" and that's kinda it. I don't know what the cause is, like it's seasoned but I just didn't get much flavor. Perhaps my pallet prefers stronger flavors over lighter ones, so take this with a grain of salt (figuratively, or maybe literally). If you're in the area, check em out.

The outside of the room is lined with wooden benches - hard for sitting and almost too tall compared to the table. If doing a quick drop by, this location of Quills is a good choice. If you are looking for a spot to land 1-2 hours you might consider other spots in Norton Commons for caffeine.

Witches Brew is a place to find all sorts of magical things, but it is also just a divine (in every sense of the word) place to sit and have a hot beverage and a pastry. It's worth a visit to this coffee shop just to see the decor. It's purple everywhere, with mood lighting, mirrors, gothic tchotchkes, creepy dolls, skulls and other fun and slightly ominous curio. There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. I got an Americano, which is usually my go-to if I don't know how strong the house drip will be. The Americano was nice and smooth. I didn't have to wait long at all for my coffee. I visited on a weekday during the morning, and there were two people ahead of me, but the line went fast and my coffee came out quickly.
