It's hard to give a 5-star glowing review for a gas station, especially with SoCal gas prices. For a gas station though, this one is pretty legit and the prices are a little bit cheaper if you use Shell Fuel Rewards and if you get a car wash. It's convenient when I'm out and about. The carwash works well. There are tons of pumps so I've never had to wait for one. Not the most exciting review, but I guess it's not the most exciting errand so that makes sense. read more

I stopped here to fill up en route to baja. The gas prices here are comparable to the area. They have a small convenience store, and it's decently stocked. They have two restrooms, and you need the key from the cashier. They keep the place pretty clean. I didn't get a good feel for the place as it was pretty late at night, and we stopped by for gas and for a restroom break. It's not always easy to find a gas station that offers more than two handfuls of pumps, with convenient access and a car wash. But this Shell station fits that bill! There are 12 pumps which are spaciously situated far enough apart so that you're never in car tetris with others. Their basic "express" car wash will cost you $7 and get you outta there in under 5 min. which I consider is a fairly economical duo. And you'll rarely have to wait. Please be careful when you pre-purchase a carwash at this station. I purchased a carwash after hours (the car wash was closed) when I was filling my tank. Unfortunately, it was raining or I was not able to use the coupon in November or this month due to weather or work travel. When I went to use the coupon that I had already paid $10 for, they denied me service because "the purchased car wash had expired" It was okay to keep my $10 but not okay to allow me to wash my car in the machine wash. I have been a loyal customer of Shell and specifically this station, but will never go back again, and suggest that you do the same. Stopped here today for gas and an exterior car wash. Have used this car wash for years, without a problem. The manager, Greg, was in charge of the car wash. He was extraordinarily rude. I had trouble releasing the brake on my car and asked them to wait while I got that done. He made a series of disrespectful comments to me, as I tried to release the brake that was momentarily stuck. I had 2 children in my car, and was embarrassed for them to hear the things that this car wash attendant said to me. He should be fired. read more

I'd prefer to give this 0 stars because the lack of customer service from the attendant was inconceivable. We went to gas up yesterday evening and purchased a car wash at the pump for $16.99. When we went towards the car wash after fueling, there were multiple people sitting who were obviously done working and the attendant came running from inside the store waving his arms and yelling "NO, NO, we're closed!" The attendant went back into the store without further explanation. We parked the car and went into the store and I asked for a refund. I was told I couldn't receive a refund as the price of gas had been adjusted with the car wash but I could come back and get a car wash. I explained I didn't live around there and would like a refund, as I assume something could be done to make this right. The attendant with a long beard and earrings (as he wore no name tag) when I asked his name told me "I don't need to tell you". I asked for a manager as I believed maybe the attendant couldn't perform a refund transaction to which he said there was nothing that could be done and then stated "I guess this is a $16 lesson". To be told by the attendant that I not only could not be refunded, nor was he attempting to do anything to help mitigate the situation but rather he was patronizing and told a customer that they had leaned a "$16 lesson" was incomprehensible to me as a customer. I started to write down a few things to which he then yelled at me that I needed to leave and on the way out he yelled that "I AM the manager!". This was truly the WORST Encounter I've ever had. I'm in a profession of customer service and this type of rude and patronizing behavior exhibited by this employee is so far off the mark from what I envision ANY company would like to embodying have as their representative or ambassador. I've never seen my car so spotted up after a rain I stopped at another shell station with a car wash and was told this shell is recycling their water from the car wash. If you ask for the basic wash you are getting recycled water which has wax in it. The wax water spots when it rains or there is dew. read more

I mean seriously OK I stopped here to get gas fill up my car and I needed to use the restroom but when I went up to the window the guy does the restrooms are locked for the night ma'am and it's only midnight, and I'm like are you serious I just don't get it are these people that lazy that they have to lock up the restrooms because they don't wanna deal with it I mean come on I am a rideshare driver on the weekends and it's getting harder and harder to find places to use the restroom as a woman.So I don't get why these places are locking up the restrooms for customers who fill up their tanks Who is gas or our customers at all and you cannot use the facilities. I think that it does a disservice to a lot of drivers out here that pick up people to avoid them from getting DUIs, but that's just my opinion. I just can't believe how many more more service stations are closing the restrooms up at early hours of the evening 10 p.m. and on. A one star review is appropriate because I've never had any issues with the attendants inside the store, the location is great, but that's how poor the customer service at the car wash is. I don't know why they have such poor attitudes (with the exception of one younger gentleman), but they do. I've been waved off as two to three attendants just stand around (during car wash hours) when I had a question, had someone simply point me away (again during car wash hours) and was once told they don't appreciate me trying to get a free car wash because the one time out of 50+ times going there I somehow lost my receipt and there were a couple cars behind me. I was then told I should really go back and pay. I completely understand there are some people out there that try and scam their way to a free car wash, but because I felt accused of doing something I know I didn't do and would never do, I took time to go back into the shop and get my receipt to show the gentleman that I did indeed pay for the wash.
