Got my truck washed here over the weekend. I asked the attendant about a hand wash to prevent swirl marks from the automated machine in the tunnel. This is important on black vehicles. I was quoted $70 to hand wash my full sized truck. They did a great job. 2 guys washed it by hand, then 2-4 guys at one point meticulously dried it off. They even used compressed air in the grill area to get rid of water that likes to build up there. They used soft microfiber cloths to protect the paint. I will return in a month and have them wash it again. It's about a 30 min drive for me, however there are no quality car washes in my area so it's worth it to me. read more

Every time I go here I tell myself it will be the last. Today on a quiet Saturday morning they literally had 4 guys working in the detail area and one guy drying cars from the wash, huh? Myself and only one other customer next to me waited over 30 minutes for our cars to be washed. Also, for $27 dollars you would think I would get it my car and it would sparkle and shine like their name, nope. I had to get wet wipes and a towels to wash and dry everything they missed, so frustrating! read more

Best car wash in Encinitas and I've tried them all. Unfortunately I drive a white BMW and it gets dirty very quickly since my house has a tree right next to my driveway. I'm here at least twice a month and I keep coming back because they do a fantastic join. As you can see they are all hands on deck so they're very quick and efficient compared to other washes I've been to. I usually go with the diamond wash but once in a while I'll go with a mini detail and wax. I like the attention to detail they give and how the whole crew will hand dry the car so there's no water stains left over like other places I've been. PS. Grab an Italian or Beacon Beef sandwich from the deli while you wait, you won't be disappointed. read more

Been before many times and while their service was 'ok', it was convenient. Sadly, today will be my last visit. My car was still dirty with spots, not bee remnants or difficult spots to remove. I spent 20 minutes wiping down my car at the car wash. I then spoke with the manager who told me I should have come in and told him before I wiped it down. He literally said "I don't have to believe you"! Then said he "wasn't going to do anything about it." Some type of acknowledgement would have sufficed, but not even close. read more

I been here twice so far for car washes. The first time it was okay to good. The last time the car was clean very well. I get the hand wash which is a little more pricey but very reasonable compared to what other places are charging for a car wash. I've taken my car here several times for a wash and I've had mostly good experiences overall. The majority of times I have to ask them to come back and either vacuum the trunk better or clean the inside of the car doors which they seem to forget, but they take care of this pretty quickly and apologize. They do a good job with cleaning the outside (not hand wash with most options though) and typically have several people helping to dry each car so it gets done quickly read more

I stopped here to try a new car wash and though the staff were nice, the job was poorly done. See picture, for the vacuum spots that were missed. My car smelled bad when I got in, like old and dirty rags were used. I had to go home and wipe down the inside to get rid of the smell and finish the vacuuming myself. I am SO disappointed. I have gone to this place so many times before and have gotten an excellent mini detail. Today was so horrible that I don't think I can ever go back. The price went up to $120 for a mini detail, which I didn't mind paying because I felt they typically do a great job. Unfortunately I got my car back and it looks like it was halfway done. The carpet still had sand and hair in it and they didn't even clean my cup holders! $120 down the drain... I'm so sad I'll have to find a new place. read more

They tried to scam me by running my 2020 Outback thru without washing it with automatic equipment. There excuse was it was not working. Just got back from my first wash at Sparkle & Shine and I will not be back. - Left a spot of wax on the windshield that I had to take off with acetone and then fix up with window cleaner to get rid of the streaks. - Did not wipe up the top of the bumper adjacent to the trunk - Worst of all, did not wipe up the sand / mud on the interior next to the driver side. My contractor got my car with the paint sprayer downwind from painting the fence, and my brand new car was covered in little white dots that wouldn't come off even with scrubbing or a car wash! I took it here, and they got all the paint dots off along with a polish and wax, for a very reasonable price. It looked so scrubby before, and now it looks like a brand new car! Horrible service. I have been coming here for 6+ years and it has gotten progressively worse. Went in for a tank full of gas and a car wash. No one was in line for car wash which was nice because this place is usually packed and slow turn around time. They were done within 5 minutes... low and behold, it was because they didn't dry off and wipe anything when inspecting my car. I asked for a towel and they watched me for the next 5 minutes wiping down all the water and soap left over for the wash. You have continually raised prices... raise the quality. This was so sub par.
