I didn't want the gas because I only do shell products and use fuel rewards when I asked them to use my alt id they said it wasn't working and then I declined due to the fact I thought it was a scam to not get the little bit of money off so they could park at all and I clearly said for being a show I didn't like the way they did this and guess what I told him I was gonna tell Shell and he said go ahead and then a homeless guy came up and said this is not a shell and this guy's been putting up a front and I confirm this. I doubt anyone checks reviews for gas stations before going to them, I know I never did. But I feel the need to write this as a heads up to anyone who might, & to document another shady transaction, as others have done at this same spot. The gas station has signs everywhere that advertise 20 cents off each gallon w/purchase of car wash. With a dirty car and an empty tank, I was happy to get that deal. I used my debit card to pay, and the older man at the register gave me a miniature hang air freshener with my receipt. When I went back to my car, I saw that the price at the pump still had the original price per gallon. Not wanting to start before I knew I was getting the right price, I walked back and told the cashier. He replied, "You didn't get the discount because I gave you the air freshener." What? I didn't ask for the tiny air freshener, He gave me the discounted rate after I gave it back to him, but it immediately made me start wondering what the scam was since I paid with a debit card. I feel like it's there somewhere. It was such a weird, shady thing and I felt uncomfortable that I had given my debit card number. After I got gas, I pulled into the car wash. Wow. It's the saddest, sparsest car wash in the world. And of course it wasn't working. I had to go get the dodgy man to do something about it. He assumed I was stupid and just didn't know how to input a numeric code, and he explained how to push buttons. I told him I did exactly that, so he then had to go show me how to do it. He walked over and punched in the code, and...nothing. Of course. He then had to go into the car wash and get on a ladder and push different buttons. It finally worked, sort of. Very brief car wash, and the drying seemed to only last a few seconds. All in all, I would avoid this gas station like the plague. I even called Shell that day because I felt so uncomfortable with the exchange and having my name and debit card number cross that guy's eyes. Tried getting propane, paid 20 dollars and watched as the cashier tried refilling my propane tank. It looks like he wasn't properly trained. He failed to even put a drop of propane gas into my tank and when we went back in to get a refund he tried charging me a dollar for whatever he out in my tank and i said your meter didnt even budge so i aint paying for something YOU messed up. So i got my refund and went to a little liquor store across the street and he refilled my tank with no issues. Only giving one star because I have post this but they deserve 0 stars. The machines are always broken the guys are not friendly or very helpful and the guy grunts rather than saying hi. Worst service! Second time I go to use their car wash and it doesn't work, AGAIN. The cashier (male) was rude when I told him the dryer was not working. He kept pointing at the "No refund" sign and said they give plenty of car washes a day and no one has complained.
