Durant H&C has always addressed my H&C issues promptly...however today "they hit it out of the park". Upon arrival at our northern MI home we immediately determined that there was an issue with our boiler. I called their shop and Rose immediately dispatched two technicians to my home, who "thought" they had already completed their day...they were actually checked out. They arrived at my home less than 15 min after I made my call. The techs were friendly, professional and efficient. They diagnosed the problem and determined the parts required to fix the problem. While one tech dismantled the unit, the other tech went back to the shop to get the replacement parts. The new parts were installed and the unit was up and working and the techs did their post installation checks and verifications and the fix was completed less than 1.5 hrs from the time I placed the call for help. Service recovery requested to take a percentage off the invoice for a less than 2 hour cancellation of our scheduled service, and Haley was rude and called me difficult. She delayed the new homeowners from getting occupancy of their new home as we had to inform the cleaning of the home was delayed. Haley could care less and did not lessen her fee for service and lack of reliability and professionalism. I would support one of the many other small businesses in the area for a move-out cleaning that values customers and their reputation.

These people are not right. I received an estimate for plumbing which came out to 9,500 which I…read morefelt was not bad. Upon bringing me the estimate for plumbing I asked did they install broilers. The plumbing and broiler estimate came to about 16,500. Which I was pleased with that price. After the install of the boiler one of the owners said the rest of the work would amount to 34,000. I told him he must be out of his mind. They give you a different price when they believe your insurance company will fork out that kind of money. I told them to take out the amount for the boiler install which was 6500 and write a check back to my insurance company. To date, I haven't received the check for my insurance company. My next step is court. They are not honest and have no moral values.
