A few things you should know before going to this hotel. First, make sure you get a good room location. The hotel borders both Rt 30 and Rt 202, so that many of the rooms have highway noise. The rooms are using single pane sliding windows, which are old and have some gaps, so sound definitely gets through. The WEST face, however, faces the shopping center and is much quieter. Second, this hotel is pretty dated. The rooms are clean, but they show signs of wear. The windows (as i said before) need to be replaced. Third, the front desk is a single station, and the staff vanished for about 20 minutes when I went down to report my HVAC problem. The hotel staff seems thin - so no coverage - and disorganized. The cleaning crews were great. I was originally put on the 5th floor, facing north (towards 202 at an angle) and I could hear the highway clearly through the window. I had to move rooms, because my original room had an HVAC problem, and the new room on the west side was much quieter. I don't know if I could recommend this hotel again, due to it's age and location. YMMV. read more

As a loyal Marriott customer, I was very disappointed with this stay. The property is clearly outdated and in serious need of renovation. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable and did not reflect the quality and standards we typically expect from Marriott. More concerning, however, was the lack of consistency in delivering the amenities that were advertised. The club lounge was posted to open for breakfast at 6:30 a.m., which was important to us because we were traveling with athletes who needed to eat before leaving for a tournament. Unfortunately, the lounge did not open until 7:30 a.m., at which point we were already departing. Similarly, the bar was advertised to be open from 4:00-6:00 p.m. When we inquired at 5:00 p.m., we were simply told that it would not be opening. When we raised these concerns with the manager, rather than acknowledging the issue or apologizing, we were met with a dismissive and unprofessional response. His tone and demeanor showed a complete lack of empathy for the inconvenience we experienced, and he repeatedly told us we were being "nit picky." He also made sure to mention that he had left a career as a surgeon to move into hospitality, which only made his lack of bedside manner all the more striking. He repeatedly cited the need for a major renovation. While I agree the hotel desperately needs updating, renovations have nothing to do with honoring posted operating hours for the club lounge and bar or providing the level of service guests expect. Physical renovations are needed, but so are improvements in communication, accountability, and customer service. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the standards I have come to expect from Marriott. read more

I was on floor 2 and there was this odd man walking down the hallway with a bat . And when the pool was supposed to be closed there were many people in the pool and the front desk was not doing anything at all . Lifetime titanium elite member. Arrived at the hotel and the restaurant is completely closed and the club lounge is not open. I get certain benefits with being a lifetime titanium member, but they wouldn't even give me a bottle of water. No breakfast available even though they have a club lounge. The least they could do was leave the club lounge open for those members who qualify, and have some bottles of water, orange juice, and sodas, and even prepackaged muffins would be great. Imagine staying here and not having any services available. On top of that, the toilet in our room leaked all over the floor, two lights were out, the bathroom sink faucet was not mounted properly (it moved from side to side). Stained carpet, filthy intake vent, room temperature would not go below 74 degrees, mold in the bathroom. Woman at the front desk did not ask how my stay was upon checkout. The same woman checked me in the night prior and stated that there was complimentary breakfast in the morning. If I could give this place a zero I would. Hotel was completely disgusting and gross. As a Mariott platinum lifetime member, I have well over 2000 stays under my belt and never experienced anything like this. Carpet was stained as if they locked a dog in there for a week and didn't take it out. I couldn't even walk on the floor without wearing sneakers. Dried up urine on the side of the tub. Black mold surrounding almost the entire tub basin and floor. The shower-head would not engage due to a faulty faucet. There were no tissues in the bathroom, no body wash in the shower(Missing bottle), conditioner bottle was completely empty and there were arbitrary stains on the walls, all around the room. The area around the ice-maker looked like a football locker room after everyone dressed and walked out. In my younger years, I have stayed at a motel 6 that was cleaner than this place. Do they even have a housekeeping supervisor that is supposed to check the rooms because this one is in inhabitable. read more

We stayed there in August 2025. The dresser that contains the fridge was broken off and hanging. I was offered a new room and said I did not want to move to a new room unless it was an upgrade. I was moved to the 5th floor. Which was the Sheraton floor. The room was exactly the same as the one that I was moved from except the closet did not open and the when it was finally opened it did not stay closed! The bathroom had soft spots in the wood. The baseboards were disgustingly dirty. There was no perk to being on the 5th floor as the lounge was closed because the restaurant to this hotel is closed. There is no breakfast or even cutlery available. The answer that the staff gave to anything food related was to go to the Outback in same parking lot. The location is fine, it is close to the highway and has a lot around it. The gentleman Anthony that works there is super sweet but the front desk clearly did not listen to what my concerns were and they were unapologetic that no one in our party seemed aware about the lack of complimentary breakfast that is advertised. When I was checking out, the front desk clerk was off to the side on a Facetime call and just told me to put the keys in the basket. I was not offered my bill or even a thank you. read more

This was the first stop on our summer drive through the approved states and it was a welcomed one. The facilities were lovely and we felt safe with the covid precautions in place. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was simple and they were great in making suggestions for things in the area. Though it was a bit farther than we expected (we searched King of Prussia), it was a beautiful view of the mountains, apparently near Valley Forge. There is a Wegmans and a Wawa nearby, so that was helpful on the food, snack and wine runs. read more

The coffee is mildly warm garbage truck juice from the bottom of the can. I attempted to order room service coffee carafe and food with the instructions provided but it never arrived. The lobby coffee is garbage juice from the bottom of the can and the in room coffee with powder cream is not fit to serve your worst enemy. I recommend you do yourself a favor and get coffee from Wawa down the road. read more

Stayed here for a wedding. Heard from several of our friends that the front desk person in the morning was totally rude. They had stayed the night before the wedding and asked if the rooms for people arriving day of would possibly be ready early. The lady gave them a total attitude. When we arrived, the lady at the desk and one of the shuttle drivers welcomed us, and were super nice. The elevators took forever. The shuttle driver that took us back and forth to the wedding was great. Room was clean, air conditioning was comfortable. The latch worked on the door, but the deadbolt did not. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were absolutely horrible. They were so soft that they gave no support. Your head just sunk to the mattress. The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear everything in the hallway. We were in a lock-off and you could also hear everything from the adjoining room - including their tv blasting all night and they had dogs barking and whining early in the morning. All night people walking through the hallways were having full blown loud conversations, slamming doors, etc. (this went until about 3:30/4am). It started again around 7:30/8am. Basically got NO sleep. We stayed in a handicap accessible room. The walk-in shower doesn't drain properly so the bathroom floor literally flooded when we took showers. Not sure I would stay here again just because of the noise. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Upon arrival around 10-10:30pm there were teenagers running through the lobby screaming and play fighting. None of the front desk employees did anything to calm the chaos that surrounded all of the arriving customers as we waited in line. Once My brother and I reached the front desk clerk Jonilda she immediately mentioned that our room was no longer available (2bed suite) and that she could offer us a single King bed and rollout bed. I was extremely disappointed in the offer because sleeping on a rollout bed is not what we paid for. I asked if there would be something else they could offer for the inconvenience and she stated free breakfast. My brother took a minute to try and find a different hotel but there were none available. I returned to the desk and asked her again why our room wasn't available. She mentioned that the rooms were still being cleaned. I requested that we receive two single rooms with King beds since that is what she said was available. She said she would check the system and after 10 seconds of fake searching our original room was magically available! It was clear that Jonilda lied about the rooms needing to be cleaned especially at such a late hour. Im unsure why she profiled us and assumed we were only worthy of a roll out so that our room could possibly be given to someone else. She wasn't apologetic about the incident nor the wait time of over 15 minutes trying to sort out the rooms when she could've easily checked us in immediately. When I asked if we were still going to be accommodated with the free breakfast she responded with "No you got what you paid for." Her response lacked empathy for the confusion and stress she caused us. Traveling to a foreign town in the middle of the night and with a rude welcome was not how I thought our experience would start. The next day the rooms were "cleaned". It looked like a 3 year old tried there bed to make the bed. The sheets were draped across the bed and pillows. There was still trash in the room, and they did not replace the wash cloths. I called the front desk for wash cloths that night and a man said he would send some up. I called back 15 minutes later and a new woman answered with no idea of my original call and she said the other man had left. She eventually brought wash cloths 10 minutes later and explained that they were understaffed and apologized. The next morning my brother spoke with the manager about our experience and he said "Oh youre the one who trashed us on the internet!" That response from the manager is extremely unprofessional! He disregarded our entire experience because he was upset about my brothers review. I would not recommend this disgusting establishment to anyone the customer service and cleanliness was awful! Stayed here for a couple days when in town for work. It was a fine stay, nothing extraordinary but definitely sufficient. Check-in was a breeze due to mobile check-in, service was fine, unfortunately I needed some hair products (usual stuff they carry) but they were out of it all :( The rooms are on the smaller side compared to where I normally stay and the bathrooms really small - it was hard to move in there without constantly bumping the toilet or door. Also room service menu options were limited and their restaurant/bar was more like a bar in an open area, and the menu was not much better. For $200/night during the week, I would expect more but like I said, it was sufficient. read more

I've never stayed at this particular Sheraton but I have been here for several family dinners and a recent funeral reception. The location is convenient to both route 30 and route 2 0 2, and the facility itself is nice. Plenty of easy and convenient parking. I wasn't given the room I reserved and the hotel tried to make things better with a plate of cookies. I wouldn't normally complain, but then the adjoining room to mine blasted its TV all night and guest services did nothing to help. I couldn't sleep and had a long day at work ahead of me the next day. I went to check out the next morning, intending to find a different hotel for the rest of my stay. They were very apologetic and did a lot to make the situation right, including moving me into a quieter, better room for the remainder of my stay. I'm glad they made every effort to mitigate the situation but still think they could have done more to make my stay more comfortable to begin with. read more

I made a reservation for a room with two double beds for two nights, July 19-21. The room is for me and my sister, who are traveling for an event. Upon arrival, the employee stated that they do not have a room available with two double beds. After I provided my information and explained that I reserved a room and it should be available, she stated that she could offer us a room with a king sized bed and a rollout bed(plus complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience).. I did not pay $170 per night to sleep on a rollout bed. I told her I'd need to think about it and stepped away. I attempted to book another nearby hotel and was unable to locate one with two double beds. This is now very scary because this is an unfamiliar city and we are now without the accommodations we paid for and requested. So my sister went back to the desk to ask again why there is not a room with a double bed available. Now, she states there was a room being cleaned and it is now available. I remind her that this was not what she told us initially as she was adamant that there was not a double bed room available. Once she gives us our keys we asked if she would still be providing complimentary breakfast for this inconvenience as we were sitting in the lobby for about 15 minutes trying to get this all situated. Her response was "No because you got what you paid for." That was disappointing and false. We paid for good service and convenience and got neither. It seemed as if this employee profiled us, assuming we were a couple, and tried to place us in a room that did not fit what we reserved. Additionally, there was no sign of a cleaning crew, and there are stains on the carpet in this room. I am extremely frustrated, disappointed, and shaken up by this experience. I have been to some damn nice hotels so it gets hard to compare after a while. Everyone starts with a 3 and if you kick ass to another level in all regards (W Barcelona, St Regis Mumbai) then and only then do you get a 5. But Sheraton Great Valley gets a super high fist bump for their excellent service. Rocco is chill AF to go sit and talk to at the bar (basically any night of the week). Tom will give you a warm welcome and be super polite while doing it. After a few months at this hotel I really enjoyed shooting the shit with him. Carrie is the absolute best. She is the manager and once went as far as helping me do my laundry when the machine was broken. This is definitely going above and beyond. Food at the bar is ... okay at best. Wings are solid. Suite upgrades come with a hot tub. Unfortunately I was usually working too much to take full advantage of it. The beds are pretty comfy (pillows could be better). The loyunge has a pretty decent breakfast and free drinks during the evening hors d'ouvres hour, yayyyy!!!! As a heads up, I have had wifi issues here. That is something that could definitely be improved. I know some people in the area stay at the Marriott in Malvern. After one week there, the Sheraton was clearly the better option. read more

We made one call to the front desk regarding my TV and service was prompt. Upon leaving, my housekeeper, Vernell was friendly and knowledgeable. I got bed bugs here late last year, which was confirmed by a doctor I saw. 3-4 calls/messages I put in with hotel management went unanswered, only to find out later when I called SPG that they had closed the case without ever contacting me. The gym at this hotel needs a serious makeover - not just modernized but fixed. All 3 elliptical machines and 2 of the 3 treadmills have non-responsive screens - both of which have remained that way for over 4 months when I first made the staff aware. It's a shame this property isn't in better shape, it's in an ideal location but I know several people who choose instead to stay 15 minutes further away at the next closest SPG. read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars for a number of reasons. The second time I checked in here this year, there was a young gentleman who was New and in training. His attention to detail was the best I've seen. He was conscientious. Better yet, he was genuine. Nothing rubs me wrong like a phony maitre d', hostess, clerk or server. This fellow was phenomenal. The rooms were clean. The housecleaning staff is severely understaffed, especially on the weekends. But, when they finally come around they do a thorough cleaning. I have my ways of testing to measure this. I was most appreciative of the staff they had working the Club Lounge. I don't know why, but invariably all the executive lounges for Hilton, Sheraton and the like, are manned by a fascist disagreeable woman who hovers over you and comes behind you and generally makes you feel as if you don't belong. Having had worked in the service industry throughout high school and my undergrad years, I know how to give proper service. I'm also overly empathetic and spend more time cleaning up after myself than I should. But truth be told, I should not be made to feel aware of the help. I shouldn't be made hyper aware of myself either. Suffice it to say that I was able to come here and relax and leave happy. Finally, there is the deck. There's some other areas outside the indoor pool that I was making a mental note of to come and have a cigar at after dinner. But, I ended up on the deck. It's sheltered, yet outdoors. There's plenty of seating, fire pits and even music and lighting. This was the spot in the evening. read more

My only problem was 3 nights in I got to the bathroom in the middle of the night and find a ROACH hiding in the towels I had on the floor NASTY!! I was so shock ! So much potential but this pretty property on top of a hill falls short of wowing me, after 2 multiple-day visits. It's just OK. As someone reviewing this Sheraton has noted, everything starts off as a 3 and gets adjusted up or down from there. I'm leaving it a 3 but no better, because it had some good elements (nice chill patio, bar/restaurant from circa 1715), but some bad as well: shuttered restaurant, completely mediocre/typical breakfast buffet and poorly trained foodservice employees wearing shabby and really dirty clothing while they served us breakfast. The place is in need of long-term employees. Rooms were meh all the way (bathrooms are just too small, everything throughout seemed worn, loose, and dated). I tried this place twice but it did not live up to a 4 star experience, unfortunately. read more
