For the past two years, our tax person is never available outside of tax season, which leaves others not familiar with our tax account to respond. And the responses have been short, rude, and non-effective. As a direct non-response from my tax person and no one at Fax Tax willing to genuinely assist, I was fined fees this year because of the lack of willingness to assist and not providing with proper information!! We have a history of stellar tax payments. We will be finding a new tax service.

Not only do they help artists on the business logistical side, but also in promotion as the space also functions as a gallery. Stop by an opening and you will be pleasantly surprised by the high quality artist on display. More than likely beating will be spinning and drinks will be available for a nominal donation. When I was there on Friday, there were lots of new parents as well, which was nice to see. Thankfully they left the strollers at home and just had the kids in the baby carriers. Considering the artist on spotlight was Ink, who is famous for crazy murals around town, I'm sure the kids got an eyeful!

I heard about her through an NPR report on Wills & Estates, and a caller to the program, unsolicited, talked about how Ms. Kristianssen has saved his family a lot of money by understanding tax law implications when moving a trust / estate from Montana. She did not disappoint! She is kind, explains legal terms in a layperson-friendly way, and doesn't charge you for things you don't need (she could have charged us for updating the trust documents but told us those were fine as is.) Highly recommend. If you need to do your will or estate planning, don't wait - just DO it, already, and save your loved ones the hassle, confusion, trauma and cost of not having your estate pulled together. Our total bill was about $570. FYI, another attorney wanted to charge me $3,500 for the same work.

The billing was extremely concerning. We were charged amounts that felt excessive for routine work, and at times it appeared we were billed more than once for the same or similar tasks. Multiple attempts to get clear answers about billing were frustrating and went unanswered. His assistant, in our experience, was the gatekeeper for all communication. She was consistently rude and dismissive in our interactions, which only made an already frustrating situation even worse. We paid a significant amount of money and have literally nothing to show for it except a lower bank account balance. We filed a formal complaint based on our experience, and it appears there is at least one other person who has publicly said they did the same. Do your homework before hiring - review publicly available complaint or disciplinary information and ask detailed questions about billing and communication expectations.
