Shortly after requesting service, Barry called to let me know he was 10 minutes away (that was fast!). I needed a new smart key for a 2017 Toyota Corolla and I did not have an original key. He told me he would be finished in 30 minutes. He actually finished in about 20 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised and shocked. You see, just 2 hours prior, I had SOS Locksmith at my home. The tech was here for an hour and 45 minutes and I had no key. He said the same thing happened to him yesterday with another 2017 Corolla. He attempted to troubleshoot and even called his supervisor. He believes that there is some software that he doesn't have or some other trick to program the replacement key. His supervisor did not have a solution either. Their main office said I should pay for the tech's labor, on top of the $19 service fee. I told them I wasn't going to pay for the company's inability to provide the proper equipment to do the job. So, time to call another automotive locksmith. Then Barry showed up, with confidence and a smile, and told me he would finish in 30 minutes. I was skeptical, but hopeful. We had a bit of a fiasco with a smart lock situation. Ren came out very quickly and replaced the lock, and we thought all was well. Within a few days, though, we had malfunctions with the lock, but Sherlock did everything to make sure we got a good lock installed and that we were happy and comfortable with the work done. I had to find/call a locksmith after getting locked out of my house because a storm knocked out my power. After calling Sherlock Locksmith, I was met at my house by Don and he was very kind and professional. He explained everything that he was going to try, starting with the least invasive. He also gave me a quote of what the total would be before he started anything. He worked quickly and efficiently and was able to save the day.
