My friends and I decided to do their Cabin in the Woods game as our first game since Covid-19. First of all, the location was very clean and they have new rules in place to really reduce the interaction with many people, so we felt very comfortable. Secondly, our Gamemaster Mia did a great job explaining everything and getting us into the room quickly. We are very experienced escape room players, and the room is rather low-tech, so the room seems very simple on it's surface. But we still had a great time figuring out everything. If you've never played an escape room before, this would be a great first room! If you're highly experienced like us, I'd recommend no more than 3 people (the size of our group). That really made it possible for all of us to get a taste of everything. We can't wait to try out some of their harder rooms soon! And again, our GM Mia was top notch!!! read more

Let me preface by saying, this was a great experience and an awesome challenge, but this review is mainly targeted to the amazing staff. Me and a group of friends went through 'The Lost Kingdom' it was pretty epic to say the least. From gathering gold, to gathering powerful jewelry we came together and solved a giant rubiks cube. It was a close call as we had 2 minutes left but through pure perseverance and a few hints we managed to escape. Now the real hero was our game-master, Alyssa, she was fantastic! She did great at setting up the foundation of the scenario, she did great at conversing with us and interacting before we began and after we escaped, she did great at being genuine and, honestly she did great at everything. Alyssa turned what considered to be an 8/10 experience into a solid 11/10. read more

The experience was enjoyable, again! This is my 2nd time playing and it was better than the 1st! The staff is very inviting and approachable. They have a good sense of humor that allows for a relaxing fun environment. The games can be a challenge for those who don't like to think outside of the box. I've played games with a group I've never met and with a group of our own and both times were fun. If you are not a people person and don't want to play with others you have the option to purchase the room for a higher price. Overall an enjoyable fun night out with friends. Only gripe would be wishing the price would come down a few bucks. Will return again! read more

Sherlock's Wild West room was my first ever escape room experience and I had so much fun. We got to dress up in western gear before heading in to a room full of locks and codes and other fun stuff just waiting to be solved. I loved how involved the room was-- there were many different things that could be worked on at once so everyone in the room wasn't focused on one thing. Our game master, Sarah Dale, was super fun and really seems like she loves her job. We couldn't have escaped the room without her! I would definitely recommend this escape room to other people and I hope I have the chance to return to try another room. read more

My boyfriend and I had a great time yesterday in the attic room. We had accidentally drove to the wrong location, and willing to take the time off our escape room since it was our own fault for being late. When we got there, Aidan was super accommodating and got us into a different room for the full hour. Escape rooms are one of our favorite date activities, so we have done quite a few across the country. The layout of the attic was one of my favorite rooms we have ever done. We didn't escape unfortunately, but we were close! Aidan was a great game master and I would definitely recommend people check this place out. read more

SHIPWRECK ROOM My group has done many other "escape room" games and brands. It was alright compared to the others. The room was very tiny and kind of cramped. There were not many props inside compared to other rooms we have done. PROS: The hint system was good and well planed. The game master (Colleen) was awesome! She had a great attitude and was very funny. She took pictures and video while we were in the room and we have not seen that any where else. It was kind of an easy room, but again we have done several. We usually do these on Sundays and I would suggest that for anyone planing their adventure. read more

Steve was nice enough to allow us to do a unique evening of team building and observation of communication techniques, leadership styles, teamwork, and problem solving with my Resident Assistant team tonight! Rather than break up into two teams and go our separate ways, we were allowed to observe as each team made their way through each escape room! It was a great way to spot and identify the strengths of our teammates, the communication styles between teammates, and the value of strong leadership and followership on a team! I went here a couple of days ago and let me just say, xan, our game master, deserves a raise, it doesn't matter what he's making he deserves to make more. We got there without making a reservation hoping that we would be able to find a time and xan the man got us in. He kept the room lively and exciting. He kept it to where the room was possible to get out of but still a fun challenge. I would come here everyday if I were guarinteed to have xan as my game master, I will be back with more friends and will recommend it to everyone I know. read more

My friend and I decided last minute to try all of their games. We discovered it too late to do all 5, but we had time for 4! We did (and escaped them all). Lamont and Julia were fantastic!! They had so much fun with us!! We have done 27 rooms before this and their puzzles were very good. The decor was also great! We didn't find ourselves frustrated because the puzzles were disconnected, as some rooms in other places have done for us. We had an overall amazing experience!! Jennifer was AMAZING with helping us book our family's Birthday event this Saturday!! We have 22 people going & 4 rooms booked!! We tried this after returning from Gatlinburg for vacation. We had escaped 2 times from similar type rooms. Our good experience there lead us to try this local venue. We were presently surprised with the quality of the game and facility in general. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. They even have a free game in the lobby that you can win for a prize. Overall I would recommend this for a fun family friendly hour of entertainment that can give you a engaging time out. read more

Thanks to Eli for running such an awesome game for us! Very immersive, fun, and unique puzzles were in our Graveyard-themed room. We were impressed with how the environment of the room was much more than just a bunch of locks and puzzles thrown at you. We really felt like we were in a graveyard with the lighting and sound effects. We'll definitely be back if we're in town again! Worth the short detour from Cincinnati. P.S. This is great fun. When you go, remember to take the people you have the most fun with. Your companions make a good experience great. I've done a few of these and I like the Sherlock Escape Rooms best. If you like puzzles and mazes, this is a fun thing to do. Wear comfortable jeans as you will end up on your knees sometimes. I've done 'The Cabin in the Woods' and 'The Graveyard'. I found 'The Cabin in the Woods' was harder but a lot more fun. read more

My fiancé and I love escape rooms. We have done several in different states. SHERLOCK'S is one of our favorites! The games are original and each one has different elements to them. The staff is awesome too. Each staff memeber we have met has been fun and upbeat. Escape rooms are already fun, but the staff here makes it 100x better. I love that they show you pictures and videos of your experience at the end. It always adds for a little extra humor. :-) read more

I went to the Shipwreck at the Florence location for my first Escape Room experience and wow!! what an awesome experience! It was challenging but logical. From the moment we walked in until we left I had so much fun! Steve was awesome, he made my first time so much fun, I'm now an addict!! Our whole family did the online escape room on Zoom (Cabin in the Woods) since it was a family member's birthday. It was unforgettable! Ace (host) and Mia (the "victim") were awesome. The escape was very immersive; even though we weren't there in person, we felt like we were responsible for helping a person escape from a kidnapper's cabin. We ended up saving the victim with about 9 1/2 minutes to spare. I recommend Sherlock's Escape Rooms highly! read more

Best Birthday Ever! Savannah was the best game host! There was 9 of us in the party and we all had a great experience. We will all definitely be back and be requesting Savannah as our host! I can not wait to come back and try and escape the other rooms. The Wild West was the hardest one and we almost escaped. I would suggest maybe trying an easier room your first time. This was my first time doing an escape room and it was a blast. We did Shipwrecked. It was difficult but not impossible (we escaped). We had 5 people and I'd say that was just right (any more might have been pretty crowded). Our "host" was Julia. She was very friendly and helpful. The staff seems to really love what they do! It was a great family experience and I'm sure that it will not be my last trip to Sherlock's. I highly recommend it! read more
