Typically don't write reviews but when I feel I must share so that others discover a great quality of care, then I will!!! Firstly, Dr Nagler has a very caring nature about him! He is so knowledgeable! I've been to 4 reputable podiatrists, for reasons not associated to their expertise, I kept having to find someone new. I'm so glad that insurance, retirement of a podiatrist, and moving brought me to Dr. Nagler! I loved him from the start! He is a brilliant doctor!!! Well informed of latest procedures too!! I had plantar fasciitis release, bunionectomy, and mallet toe surgery, all on both feet. Surgeries were performed with care and precision!!! Beginning at the 2nd week of April then June 6th. Secondly, I was also equally impressed with the surgery center called ROC in the building! (Oops maybe it's called Houston surgery center, but for sure it's in the same building 1st floor.) Wow! Talk about well oiled machine! Everyone has a specific role and they know it very well! Dr. Les Yarmush (the anesthesiologist) administered the exact amounts of meds so as to not feel anything during and after surgery, not even nausea, headache or grogginess! Absolutely wonderful!! The nurses I had were Arfilio and Dameiro. They made me very comfortable and happy! They were so very kind, helpful and knowledgeable!! Lastly, I healed wonderfully!! I mean wonder-fully!! My right foot is ready to get back on the trail! My left foot is feeling like it's almost ready! My feet are Precious now, if I may say so myself! Hee hee!! I found this Doctor on Yelp and he was just as wonderful as the reviews promised. He's so NICE! I am a huge baby when it comes to needles and after he gave me a shot to numb my toe I screamed a little bit & had tears in my eyes. He was so empathetic. He stopped what he was doing, came over & held my hand, and it was very sincere- he looks you in the eyes when he's talking to you and is very good at what he does. He waited until I was comfortable again before proceeding and didn't make me feel silly for acting like such a baby. I went to a different podiatrist a few years ago and they were awful so this was not my first rodeo. The difference between Dr. Nagler and other podiatrists is that Dr. Nagler does not delegate his work to assistants. He is very hands on and a true professional. I noticed that another person complained about the wait. I did wait about 15 minutes but I would much rather wait and get excellent care from the Doctor himself. He takes his time with you, explains everything, and answers any questions you have. The office is super clean and sterile and I felt very comfortable with Dr. Nagler and his staff. I cannot recommend this doctor to anyone. Not only did he misdiagnose my injury (set my recovery back w months) and sold me his sham products (he won't write a prescription, will only sell his own overpriced products), he stood me up when I confronted him about it. Said he'd take action and call back but never did. No follow-up, no concern for the patient. Basically took my money without trying to make it right. Where is the professionalism? Need further proof? Look at all the other negative reviews he's buried under questionable positive reviews without any comments. Take my advice and go somewhere else. read more

I was referred to Dr.Nagler and was satisfied with his job of removing my ingrown toenail. HOWEVER, greatly disappointed with his staff and his cunning way of ripping me off $100+ for a solution that he was out of stock and that I never received as promised at the time of payment. I paid, in good faith, with the understanding that the solution would be available for pick up the following day. One day turned to three days of waiting, meanwhile my toe was healing well with epsom salt. I canceled the order, but was not refunded my money!!!! I called the staff there and of course, they were rude. emailed the doctor and til this day, have not heard from him. There is no non-refundable sales on the receipt and the odd thing is they lump charged my co-pay with the solution for one price!!! This is very poor service. read more

Found Dr Nagler on Yelp, I'm new to Houston and had what I thought was an ingrown toenail, was in a lot of pain and needed to get an appointment asap. I am so pleased to have found him, and my experience was every bit as wonderful as all the reviews I've read on here. He takes time to look you in the eye and greet you, he's very present. Very kind, and takes time to explain to you what is happening. Turned out it was an infection from a pedi I'd had done at a spa. After he attended to my abscess we discussed my other needs, and it turns out the ingrown toenails my previous podiatrist has been treating for years can be permanently dealt with. I'm so happy to have found Dr Nagler and will definitely trust him to take care of me if any other issues with my feet flare up. read more

A big shout out to Dr. Nagler and his staff! I first saw Dr. Nagler many years ago. He was recommended by 2 individuals, one of whom is also a doctor. They couldn't say enough positive about their experience with Dr. Nagler who performed successful foot surgeries on each. I had an appointment first thing this morning, for ingrown toe nails. I had 2 numbing injections, with minimal discomfort. Dr. Nagler was gentle and comforting. I did not experience pain during the procedure and still have no pain, 8 hours later. Dr. Nagler is professional, personable and thorough. His staff is friendly and helpful.  I would recommend this office to anyone, who needs a podiatrist. read more

I'll review the staff now and will review Dr. Nagler at a later date. I'll try to keep it short. -The staff at first seemed nice unless you have problems or questions they act like they were too busy for you. -After my surgery I called and told one of the staff members that the pain meds I was given turned out I was allergic to and I requested a different kind. This was about 2-3 days after surgery. I was told that I should not need anything anymore that I should take Tylenol. How would the staff know the level of my pain?!? -There is no communication between the staff and Dr. Nagler. Every time I made an appointment I had to explain why I was making the appt whether it be a problem or a follow up but when I went in to see the Dr. he had no clue as to why I was there. -The wait time is extremely long, hours waiting to only see the Dr. for 2 minutes. I hope my experience helps you decide on a doctor but I do not recommend this place. Again, I will review the Dr. on a later date but I will mention that the surgery did not go well. read more

Dr Nagler is the absolute best in foot surgery! He and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and confident with everything. As for recovery, I was walking without crutches the same day of surgery and had to take NO pain meds after the initial pain pump was removed, 3 days following surgery, and I was wearing 2 1/2 inch wedge heals after just 4 weeks of surgery with NO pain. Dr. Nagler has THE best "bedside manner" of any doctor I've ever dealt with. Brought my Dad to Houston to have a bunion removed last year. His staff was incredibly helpful in getting all the documentation necessary and since Dad lives in PA this was no little task. So I came in today to eagerly get rid of a problem that I have been dealing with since I was younger. I always get pedicures so they take care of my in grown nail problems, but I wanted medical attention now to get rid of this problem once and for all. It's not currently bothering me like it use to, but who knew it had to be bad for it to get treated. Normal civilians like me don't know better, so why wasn't I told in advance? For me, its like getting a root canal. They see its bad but it hasn't started to agitate the patient yet, so they take care of it before it worsens. Thats my mentality, but I completely understand that it is different for a different body part. The thing that just threw me overboard after visiting here is that, as a new patient, I arrived early. I arrived 20 minutes early and didn't get seated till 15 minutes after my assigned appointment time. No complaints there because thats what I expected, although I wish my earlier arrival and being the only one in the waiting room expedited my time. Then I get seated and maybe 10 minutes later, a nurse walks in. She asks me what I was there for, examined my foot and warned me that the doctor probably won't treat it since its not inflamed. Okay, I had no issue with her advice, but I was just going to be on the safe side and wait for the doctor. She asks me the usual, like weight and height...but then she asks me for my blood pressure. Seriously? Do you think I have a blood pressure reader installed in my brain that can automatically tell me throughout the day what my reading was? I tell her, "I don't know". You would think she would get up and start to get my blood pressure reading through some sort of device, but nope. She just asks me if its normal, like I know better, and just wrote random numbers on the chart. I checked off in my medical history of my father having high blood pressure, so lets just say if I was treated that day and a complication arose in regards to my blood pressure...I won't even finish. She finishes her part and tells me to play on my phone because the doctor isn't even there yet. No problem right? Its only 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment.... I hear the doctor arrive in the office, talks to his staff and jokes around, then enters my room. I worked in a health profession office where the doctor always strolls in late after lunch with a full house worth of patients, blue tooth in ear, and a huge smile. That was Dr. Nagler, spot on. I'm not saying he wasn't friendly or unapproachable, but his tardiness was just not my cup of tea. He was extremely friendly when walking in, and could tell that I was not happy at all. He tried to make me feel better, but my time was wasted. I'm already completely annoyed since I wasted so much time there just to be told they wouldn't treat on me. I respect the fact that he was honest, but wow, an hour was all it took for him to dismiss me. If he had told me at a reasonable time in regards to my scheduled appointment, I wouldn't be so upset. Not only that, once I started to make my exit, he had a full waiting room of patients. That definitely made me rethink of coming back because if he's that late for my appointment, imagine how behind schedule he is. I could be upset for absolutely the wrong reasons. He could've had an emergency he had to take care of, misunderstanding of the scheduling, the over filled waiting room could've been his associate's patients as well, who knows. I'm going to try to be as understanding as I can be, but the fact I was in his office for 1 hour and 30 minutes (including my earlier arrival time) to hear a 2 minute consult and no apologies for his lateness, unacceptable. I'll leave some sort of rating because perhaps he is an amazing doctor that worked extremely hard to get to where he is, and it was just an off day. I never got to experience his medical treatment, so for everyone who wants to give it a try, go for it. read more

Bunion removal surgery on both feet, 6 months apart. All I can say is, both feet are now pain free, bunion free, and pretty again! Scars are minimal and recovery was honestly a breeze. Yes, it took about 10 weeks for complete normalcy to return, but was able to get around and walk within days. Dr. Nagler is kind, compassionate, and an ultimate professional who has honed his surgical skills for minimal recovery time and minimal scarring. Several follow-up visits to ensure complete healing. I had zero complications and such minimal pain....actually more a discomfort....that I'd highly recommend Dr. Nagler for bunion surgery, or any other foot issue. read more

Visiting Dr. Nagler's office was one of the best experiences I've had with medical care. His staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. And Dr. Nagler was incredibly patient and caring. He spent a lot of time with me in the room, both listening to my explanation of my injury and answering my copious questions about it. I had an ingrown toe nail removed by Dr. Nagler a few months ago. It has not returned, but it took two months to heal and does not look great now that it is healed. There's nothing wrong with Dr. Nagler except that I have now had three ingrown toe nails removed and I know how much better it can be done. The first ingrown toe nail I had was removed by Dr. Serrina Yozsa at Talus in Motion in Scottsdale, AZ and compared to her the other podiatrists I've seen are butchers. Her technique was much less invasive, she removed a far smaller portion of the nail, it healed in two weeks and the ingrown nail she removed has not returned. She set the bar so high that I fear all others will be a disappointment. read more

I had ingrown toe nail removed by Dr. Nagler several months ago. I am so disappointed with his procedure when I found out he did not remove the correct portion of the nail. It has returned after a month and condition got worse than before. Also he overused phenol, it burned my nail bed and I was in pain for a long time. I don't recommend him to anyone. read more

My wife stepped on a sea urchin during our Mexico holiday trip and contacted Dr. Nagler first thing on Monday morning after the weekend. I doubted her ability to get an immediate appointment but I was gladly proven wrong. Dr. Nagler (and his staff) fit her into his schedule immediately on the same day and after examining her foot, she was presented for surgery. Doctor's visit and OR both on the same day, who knew?!?! The office is so attentive and Dr. Nagler is a careful and compassionate doctor. I am ashamed to say this is our third visit to him over 3 years (first my wife got a bunionectomy and the following year my broken toe was repaired).
