I do wish there weren't so many vacant storefronts but I understand malls have changed over the years, which is unfortunate. Bayshore also offers a variety of restaurants, including the Cheesecake Factory, which many of my friends love to go to for their large menu and delicious cheesecakes. My one negative remark that I will make is that I do not like to go to this mall after dark. It doesn't feel very safe to me, so I stick to only going during the daytime hours. Oh... and there is that one time the parking garage collapsed in 2023... I never park in the parking garage- I never liked them to begin with, even before that happened.

There's a security but I noticed his uniform are the ones from Mexico.....not an actual black SECURITY uniform. Pretty sure he doesn't have a valid Security license. The lady who "sews" only sews holes on pants. Everything else is out of her work she stated "I don't fix zippers because people are picky and get mad at me for not doing it right" I than said so you aren't an actual seamstress? She said no she doesn't know how to sew just fixes small holes. This place is mediocre and needs to be shut down so another store can be built

The Avenue has a lot of history behind it, once the only major indoor shopping facility in Milwaukee proper and the one time largest food court in Wisconsin, its great to see the thoughtful re-vamp of a historic part of Milwaukee. The newly re-branded Avenue is considered a shopping center, shared office space, and apartment building. While there are few retail stores, and plans for one or two more, it is not really a shopping center. Just on the other side of the building is a bustling food court wit many great options from local vendors. The many retail stores at one point have been converted to apartments, a creative way of keeping the historic look of the mall space. The space continues to have more potential and its great to see the history that still remains.

Food options are affordable and typical for a mall food court. The Icee's at the combination Mrs. Fields & TCBY are made perfectly, and I definitely wish I got a large size instead of a small. Service was great at the few stores I visited (Torrid, Rally House, Hot Topic, and Claire's). I was disappointed to see that some stores had relocated, but I was happy to see a lot of familiar stores prospering. I have always enjoyed ambience and aromas while walking the main corridor. The entire mall is blessed with staff that is very Wisconsin friendly. All were helpful in helping our small group find and direct us to the appropriate stores to make our purchases. We needed some special products and because of their help we were able to locate them. As we walked in the main corridor staff members were saying hello and giving out samples, including food and fragrances. The mall staff/security were very helpful also. We were trying to find the best place to stand to get public transportation. He not only told us, but he took us there and stayed with us until public transportation arrived. He was the perfect representative for Southridge Mall! Great stores such as Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Starbucks, Mrs Fields, Cinnabon, Foot locker, Claire's, JCPenney and many others are all located at this mall. They're undergoing renovation but it is worth a trip. Easy parking in the front or behind for those that decide to drive. Public transportation from buses to trains have stops located near entrances. I hope new stores will find their way to this location.

I'm also not all that excited about the store and restaurant offerings given the hassle. It does look like they try to use the main space for movies, live streaming games, family nights, etc but we've never tried any of those out. There has been turnover of some stores/restaurants though so always something different to check out. I will say that it's nice to have free parking compared to some other similar mall concepts like this. All in all, good but not great.

In the summer there are free workout classes and yesterday we visited for the tree lighting that also features a drone show and appearances from Santa and Frozen's Elsa and Anna. My go to spots for shopping here are Madewell, Anthropologie, and Altar'd State. The LL Bean is also huge. Lots of parking options (although be aware it can sometimes get very busy) including a parking garage. Very walkable to everything the Corners has to offer
