    That 13$ BLOODY MARY EXTRAVAGANZA
    Toyna J.

1st time if actually going to the Public Market. I was able to get some cheese curds because that's a must if you're going to the cheese state . My coworker got this amazing Bloody Mary with the works for 13$ (such a great deal!) This food hall has many things to offer from seafood to sweet treats you can't go wrong. I hope to come back another time and try the seafood I was told its pretty yummy.

This is an absolutely beautiful market and I come here whenever I am in town. It has an eclectic selection of stalls, absolutely something for everyone. I have never been here when it isn't busy, but it is easy to get through and is very clean. I always find something new every time I am here and it is fun to come with a group to try all the different kinds of foods. Also, I always hit up the Spice House and come home with a new, weird blend that I ration until I come again. Try the Vulcan Fire Salt!

Was recommended this place by our uber driver. There is a variety of food items to purchase. Variety of drinks, pastries, cheese, seafood, and food items. We went to David Alan Alan's Smokehouse and Saloon MKE. We both got the smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket was tender and the sides were yummy (Mac & cheese and potato salad). Each food business has stools to eat their food there but there is also seating upstairs and outside.

Milwaukee Public Market is basically what happens when a city turns food FOMO all under one roof. Every vendor is screaming try me and if they're not, they mean it! You can for a salad, you leave 3,000 calories deep. I landed on a falafel salad and cookies, which felt responsible for approximately six minutes before the cookies showed up. The market has been one of Milwaukee's favorite food destinations for years, and after one lap around the place you'll understand why. It's impossible to leave without seeing at least three things you wish you'd ordered instead.

There were so many options! We actually ended up going here twice. The first day we ordered a dessert - salted caramel brookie. The second day we ordered empanadas from La masa. They were both delicious! Also, there were plenty of seats around for people to sit and enjoy. So many options.

The Milwaukee Public Market is my favorite. So many great vendors inside - there will be something for everyone. It's also very clean which I appreciate. There is seating available upstairs and outside. I've never had any issue with service at any vendors or do I feel any are overpriced. I love the ties to Wisconsin and MKE and it's definitely a must stop if I'm the city. There are shops, restaurants, bars, grocery, and candy, etc available in the market.

Fun atmosphere, however, a lot of places smooshed into a small place. It's pretty overpriced, so you are definitely paying for the atmosphere. There is a good selection of places to eat and a few stores around the place. We went up to one place and the staff was pretty rude so we ended up leaving. That it is nice to see a lot of small businesses. There, definitely would recommend it to out-of-towners for the experience!

My mil was visiting from Utah and I thought it would be fun to take her there. I was right, she loved it . We snacked and shopped. You just have to love the purveyors and their courteous attitudes. Purchased a lot of cheese, avocado, empanadas, paninis and some chocolates and cookies. Got a lot of steps in to combat the calories we had eaten! Overall great selections and prices on everything we ate/took to share. We stopped for oil and vinegar on our way out and headed home with all of our goodies

We found metered parking on the corner & came for lunch. The small public market is packed with delicious. The most beautiful food, even the produce was gorgeous here. This has been ranked one of the best food holds in the country and now I understand why. This is truly food porn!!! This is Milwaukee's iconic food & event destination filled with unique, high quality selections of artisan & ethnic products, and freshly-made prepared foods. We were able to eat in the Market's second floor Palm Garden & take some purchases home. Parking is available nearby & hours are 10 AM until 8 PM daily closing at 6 on Sundays. Cookies, coffee, sausages, flowers, olive oil, beer, spices, fish, seafood, produce ... look pristine. Thai, Greek, Mexican .. cuisines were presented beautifully. The Market also showcases cooking classes featuring instructors ranging from our own vendors & local chefs to nationally known cookbook authors.

Milwaukee Public Market is an iconic destination in Milwaukee. I had to visit it during my first time in Milwaukee. I visited markets in various cities, and this one particularly blew me away. It was so modern, clean, and the vendors were fantastic! Market Layout: The market has an open layout. Instead of stands, each vendor has more of store fronts. There's a good mix of sit-down and takeaway places. The market has two levels, but is well laid out so you don't have to wander. Vendors: Here you'll find spices, cheese, bakery, candy, Mexican food, wine, flowers, fish, and more. Like a true tourist, I only shopped for cheese. I'd venture out to support more vendors, but I had to fly back home next morning. And so, I found myself at the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe! I purchased an embarrassing amount of cheese and also cheese curds. Cheese curds were heavenly. What I especially loved about his vendor is that I could ask which cheese would travel best and how to transport it. I also asked about most popular cheeses. I was incredibly happy with my purchases. Everyone in my family ate charcuterie for weeks. They were not complaining. Events: Milwaukee Public Market hosts Night Market during summer and early fall. It's a fun outdoor occasion with vendors, music, and fun. There are other events published on their site. If you're a tourist in Milwaukee, check out nearby sights. This area is very walkable. Milwaukee RiverWalk is a short walk away. So are a few hotels. I highly recommend visiting this market. And the cheese curds - so good, try them!

A nice spot along the river walk. We bought our Wisconsin cheese from here. They have plenty of restaurants and food places here. It's easy to navigate around, and staff we encountered were nice and helpful.

Came here when I was going to a Packers game from Southern California. Stoped at the bar that across from the deli store and the bartender was super nice and friendly. They noticed we were in our Packers gear and asked if we were from around the area. Once we told the bartender we are from California she suggested we get the bloody Mary. It's a game day tradition to have a bloody Mary and beer on the side during game days. It was loaded and tasted great.

I love this place. There are so many options to choose from. The Fish market is exceptional and the vibes are also great. They often have live music and other events in the market hall. Its pretty expensive for most places in here, but the food is worth the price I my opinion. I also recommend the empanada spot!

Is there outdoor seating? I want to grab a bloody mary and bring my puppy.

    Yes! There is outdoor seating!

Can I buy smokes white fish to take w me? If yes, where and who has the best?

I don't know if they have it, but your options at the Public Market are St. Paul Fish Company and Foltz's Family Market.

Are there any Gluten free options?

From what I've seen none of the places offering "Gluten Friendly" use separate dedicated wheat-free surfaces so if you're actually a Celiac's person I wouldn't trust any of them. But if you're just on a fad diet you've got lots of choices.

We picked the evening to go hoping to see the beautiful yellow lights (and I recommend you to go in the evening too - same food same drinks same shops but the view is more beautiful). The ornaments and lights indeed made it festive, but there were surprisingly not many tents and people. And there was no music. The market felt kind of tiny, empty and quiet on the huge, open Fiserv Forum Plaza ground. Maybe as the holiday season approaches, the vibe will get better. Here are the things that we did and enjoyed: 1. Got the warm, creamy, rich Belgian hot chocolate in the super cute Milwaukee souvenir mug. It's $11 with the mug which is pricey for such a small size of drink. But I liked the mug a lot and thought sharing a mug of hot chocolate with someone you love on a cold winter evening is kind of sweet. 2. Different handmade crafts from Germany, blankets from Peru, outwear, tea, coffee cakes, chocolates, pies, candies, cookies, cream cheese, soap... We walked around the outdoor area to check out all the vendors. It took us less than 30 mins but it was fun. 3. Checked out the indoor Christmas décor and gift shop before getting food. The staff were super nice. 4. Got the Raclette cheese sandwiches! Watching the melty raclette got scraped into the bread was delightful. With $1 extra, you could add a brat to the sandwich with a similar amount of cheese (we thought, as I got one with just raclette and hubby got one with a brat). * My suggestions are: 1) eat the sandwich as soon as possible when it is still warm and moist. Don't spend too much time looking for seats or taking photos lol. 2) Your hands may smell stinky later if you touch the cheese, which is highly likely to happen as there is so much cheese! 5. Found the warming house and sat down and enjoyed some simple, traditional live Christmas music performed by a band.

I just found it a bit odd that all communication was done through Instagram. All the events I've done, the people in charge always email out information regarding the event instead of just using Instagram (or some other social media platform) because not everyone uses Instagram or Facebook. I understand that in this day in age, it's more likely than not that people have social media but it shouldn't be assumed that have it. The person who put on the event asked me for some info so she could do an Instagram post to help promote us. I sent so pretty basic info but nothing was posted. Thanks for the publicity. There was a vehicle that was parked in one of the vendor spots. No one moved the car so the vendor was unable to set up her booth. She ended up leaving and not staying for the whole event because the person putting on the event initially was rude to her and didn't try to help solve the situation that the vendor had no control over. It was not cheap to sign up as a vendor and being a small business, paying $100+ for a spot and not being able to stay and make enough to at least cover the cost of the spot is ridiculous. The whole Situation could be handled better. And there was definitely a lot of the same vendors (used clothing) and not a lot of variety. I wish there was a variety of vendors - it may have drawn a more wide range of clientele. So overall, I don't know if I would recommend this event, to be a vendor at or to shop at.
