Death is never easy, especially death of a child. When this affected me I dreaded the idea of going somewhere to haggle over price or even talk about money after the loss of a beautiful 5 yr old. Let me tell you that the only thing I felt in my first meeting at Sherrell Wilson was COMPASSION. I expected a sales pitch and I got a hug. I was so impressed that from my first meeting until the last person left the cemetery the OWNER was standing right by my side and offering to do ANYTHING he could for me. Joe was amazing and made a horrible time a little bit easier. Now Joe does this daily so I didn't expect the sincerity and personal attention I got from him as well as his staff. This whole experience completely changed my idea of funeral directors. Joe and his staff will be by your side with comfort, a hug and compassion. On top of all that, I later found out that my expenses were far more than reasonable as well. I can never thank these guys enough for helping to honor a special little girl with all the extras that they didn't even have to do. She loved purple and the fact that they made her casket purple was tear jerking and amazing. Thank you Joe, for doing your job with excellence. I appreciated how quickly they sent an invoice with a breakdown of the cost for my review and for my records. I paid with a CC through an online website. On the day, about 25 minutes before the scheduled pick up, the tow driver called to confirm address for pick up (McDonough) and address for drop off (Decatur). He gave me an anticipated time of arrival based on GPS so I could be sure to have the car and extra key waiting. I got text alerts as well. The driver arrived promptly at the time he gave me. He took photos of the car before placing on the tow truck and took photos again once it was on there. It got dropped off to the body shop, easy-peasy. I would use again them again.

Like most homeowners, you don't need septic service until it becomes an emergency, and Jeff--the owner--was ready to take action right away. After completing his diagnostic testing, Jeff determined the pump was inoperable and needed replacement. Within an hour, he returned with the necessary equipment, replaced the pump, and clearly explained the next steps required to restore the system to proper operation. The following day, Jeff brought additional staff to dig down to the tanks and recommended installing risers to prevent unnecessary damage to the yard during future maintenance. Jeff's expertise and his thoughtful recommendations to make the system more maintenance-friendly are what truly set him apart. His professionalism, responsiveness, and quality workmanship earned our trust.
