I had made a trip there two days prior and was introduced to there unique paint color matching system where you can bring any paint color from a different company into them, and they'll be able to match it! The three walls I was able to complete over the weekend turned out great! The employee who helped my wife and I was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. Today's experience was a complete 180. I had the pleasure of working with Jimmy. It was very clear Jimmy was having a bad day. I can't blame him... who really does like Mondays. Jimmy was showing his frustration left and right when told by employees he gave customers the wrong paint color. Jimmy kept shouting he hadn't don't anything wrong and said they can deal with it since Clover green is close enough to what they asked for. Jimmy was also short with me when I tried to use my friends and family discount coupon for 25% off. He was struggling to figure out how to register the coupon in the computer so needed to call for assistance. When he finally was able to figure out how to do it, he said "well boy get your phone out". After I swiped my card to complete the transaction, the receipt as shown does not say a discount was applied. I asked whether it was and was abruptly told "well yeah it's a $50 bucket of paint". Jimmy may have been having a rough day; however, emotions aside a customer should never be treated that way.

I was greeted upon entry and I told the clerk what I needed. He explained my options for exterior paint and calculated how much paint I would need. PPG sells to contractors and non-contractors alike. I purchased 5 gallons or exterior paint, 1 gallon of primer for the section of replacement wood and a few samples of interior paint. Prior to this home project I purchased paint from Home Depot or Lowe's. Since I've "discovered" PPG, Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore, I will not be going back to HD or Lowe's for paint. The overall customer experience is better at the professional paint stores and the price is comparable or cheaper (with your painter's contractor discount) and the product is superior.

The guy behind me needed only a gallon of something as well, but this particular employee could not multitask. Finally, after 30 minutes, another employee came out and started serving the guests that weren't Richard Burgess and I was next in line! "Sorry ma'am, we are out of Charwood. My wife and I had done some research beforehand and had some ideas of what we wanted and our price point. We shared all of this with Romeo and he took us directly to see some fantastic tester models. Romeo wasn't pushy or aggressive. He made helpful suggestions, answered all of our questions, and left us alone to experience each of the mattresses for ourselves. We were in the store for almost 40 minutes, trying out different mattresses at our leisure. Upon hearing our assessments, Romeo recommended a higher caliber of mattress that wasn't on the showroom floor but that he thought we would enjoy. Trusting in Romeo's sound advice, we took his suggestion, and I am so glad that we did! Our new mattress is incredible - exactly what we both wanted. For the first time in years, I am excited to go to sleep! I won't go into details about the mattress itself because the right mattress for you will vary based on personal preference. But I will say that Romeo and the other sleep experts at Mattress Firm are the professionals you need to find that perfect mattress. In the interests of full disclosure, I will say that due to a small mix up our box spring was delivered on one day and the mattress the day after. Romeo, however, was our advocate throughout the process and the delivery teams, both for the box spring and the mattress, were efficient, courteous, and amenable. Now about the furniture, it's beautiful and comfortable but it was the worst ordering, delivery and assembly experience I have ever had with such an expensive product. Delivery was a week late, they decided to hold the whole delivery for two items that were back ordered rather than giving us the option. We are still waiting for the last two items. The pieces are very heavy. You have to get them inside yourself. It is not only required to put your own covers on each piece, you then have to figure out how to put them together in the configuration you want. No instructions provided. No assembly offered, nothing. $5k spent then all the hard work you have to do yourselves. I would not recommend for anyone over 40 and not for anyone at this price point since they do not offer in-home delivery, or assembly. Would not buy from them again even if I was under 40.
