Okay - the customer service in store is good. We had someone who was new or in training and we were not informed of a lot of things that were very important later on. I recommend speaking with someone who is more experienced and more knowledgeable and not just the first customer service person that tries to get the sale. Now about the furniture, it's beautiful and comfortable but it was the worst ordering, delivery and assembly experience I have ever had with such an expensive product. Delivery was a week late, they decided to hold the whole delivery for two items that were back ordered rather than giving us the option. We are still waiting for the last two items. The pieces are very heavy. You have to get them inside yourself. It is not only required to put your own covers on each piece, you then have to figure out how to put them together in the configuration you want. No instructions provided. No assembly offered, nothing. $5k spent then all the hard work you have to do yourselves. I would not recommend for anyone over 40 and not for anyone at this price point since they do not offer in-home delivery, or assembly. Would not buy from them again even if I was under 40. read more

So, before this day i'd never even heard of Lovesac, but my girlfriend saw this place and dragged me inside to take a look. What Lovesac is is a shop that sells furniture that locks together with no tools. Clamps hold it together and you can create couches of crazy length, make tables out of couches, cup holders out of tables, and extremely large bean bag inspired chairs, that make it impossible to get out of if your legs aren't strong! Customer service was actually super informative, going over everything we pointed at, and telling us about the warranties on everything. I wasn't looking to buy this day, but I thought it was kinda neat to have a miniature display that you could design your own furniture, and staff mentioned they could put together just about anything you could put together in the mini display. Neat! Located in Lenox Square mall, right across from the Apple store, Lovesac has a small foot print but packs a wallop when you walk in. If you're looking for something different when it comes to furniture, this may be your place! read more

The customer service here is terrible! I ordered a sofa here back in November of 2019. Once it got here everything was fine. However, I ordered too many peices and had to return them. I received direction and shipping labels and send the items back. It is now MAY 2020 and I still have not received a refund. I have called, emailed and went back to the store in person to resolve this issue. The store manager Tonia told me I would need to reach out to Custom Service to get help. I have contacted Customer "Love" 5 different times and I was first told I need to contact the store (already did that ). I was then told by the other customers service reps that they would be looking into because they could see that I am owed a refund. I would not recommend dealing with this company, soley based on their terrible customer service. UPDATE 5/26 - Finally got a phone call and update for Lovesac. I went in for an appointment just to see what the furniture felt like and ended up leaving with an order placed. Stephen is an absolute joy and very informative and personable. He was also very patient as it was one of my first real and big "adult" purchases so I wanted to make the right decision. The sales associates act as though they do not want to help the customer and treat us like we're inconveniencing their lives. Went into buy a couch for the first time today! It was a wonderful experience. James was so helpful and attentive. Felt safe and clean shopping here since they close the doors and only have one customer at a time. All of our questions were answered and I didn't feel pressured to buy. Ended up getting a "sactional" that I am very excited to receive. James was super knowledgeable and helped answer a long list of questions! Normally, I don't review individual stores in the mall, but this store deserves it. My boyfriend just moved into a new townhome recently and he needed a new couch for his home theater room. The catch is that the doorway to that particular room is a little narrow, which makes getting most regular-sized couches through the door nearly impossible. Enter Lovesac. We walked in there one weekend more to just browse than purchase, but when my boyfriend asked about the width of a couch and explained the situation, the helpful salesperson, Jonathan, said it wouldn't be a problem and then completely disassembled the couch right in front of us. The beauty of Lovesac couches is that they break down into their most basic pieces and can then be reassembled in multiple different configurations. It's like LEGO couches!! And did I mention that they come in over 400 different types of fabric? Yup. So we looked around, took some notes and went home to decide exactly what we needed and what would fit in the room best. After a few measurements, debates and different configurations we made a decision and went back to Jonathan the next weekend. We decided on the chaise sectional (a 4-base, 5-side) configuration in blue velvish. One reason that we went back to Jonathan, was because the store was having a 15% off sale for President's Day and we saw a sectional online in chocolate that was half the price of the blue, but otherwise identical. We wanted to see if we could get the blue for the discount, and Jonathan made it happen. He was incredibly helpful and even got us the 15% off discount on top of the already-on-sale couch price! How awesome is that? Pretty darn great, I'd say. Now, I'll be honest that Lovesac costs more than other places for a couch, but for our needs and the warranty, versatility of the couch configuration, etc. it was perfect. The worst part is waiting the 4 to 6 weeks it will take to make the custom order couch and have it shipped to his house for free. Here's hoping it comes sooner than expected. read more

Having trouble with poor customer service is NOT what you would expect for the amount of money that this couch costs. Spent over a half hour "trying" to simply order two extra pieces to our couch a few weeks ago. Had the person on speaker phone...my husband and I could tell the person taking our order was not too bright. We CAREFULLY explained to her the two pieces we needed. It wasn't rocket science. Today they came...and yep, surprise, one piece was entered incorrectly. Just got off with customer service and now it's an ordeal to return the piece we got and get the correct one. Several more weeks of waiting (why should it take so long???). The clincher: their customer service reps refuse to give their name or any sort of identifying employee number. I think this is shady and HORRIBLE service in this day and age. Worse than the cable companies! Where is the accountability, Love Sac? Don't you make enough money that you can hire intelligent, ACCOUNTABLE customer service reps? Disappointed in this company. Our fabric on the couch isn't holding up so great either...and it's only been 1 year. Looks "pilly" and NOTHING like it did when we bought it despite non-daily use. Buyer beware. read more

My tip is that I found that some are low reviews because they had accidents with their Sacs. Such as the pet had peed and it soaked all the way thru. If you are going to spend this amount of money on a piece of furniture...so to speak...buy a special cover or make sure your pet is properly trained. read more

I'm the proud (and happy) owner of a lovesac. And a sactional. The lovesac is definitely a favorite in the home. And the sactional has been in at least three different configurations. Now that I'm moving, I'm ecstatic I don't have to carry a five seater couch down two flights of stairs and up another flight. So are the people helping me move! We are the proud owners of three Lovesacs. The sactional sofa was our first purchase after sitting on dozens of others. It is hands down the most comfortable sofa on the market. Our second Lovesac was the 6 ft. "Bean bag" and my children fight to sleep in it! Our third was the "futon like" Lovesac which gets moved around and is the perfect bed for guests! My 13 yr old son could tell you all of the proper names and fabrics because he can't wait to work there when he turns 16!! Our new friend, Alicia, who runs the store is so knowledgeable and adorable. They have created a serious no pressure atmosphere. The Lovesac store at Lenox mall has become our first stop every time we go to the mall!! read more
