But when I came out, I was smiling and had forgotten what was on my mind, because the staff knew both exactly what I needed in terms of paint, and treated me with kindness and care. And, b/c I am a returning customer and work through a contractor usually, they also made sure to apply every legitimate discount they could, making the purchase extremely reasonable. I told him I was going to make a quick phone call to get the account information. His attitude changed immediately. He became visibly angry and told me he was not going to sell me anything because I was on the phone trying to get the account number. I was surprised and confused by his reaction. I don't know what I did that warranted being treated that way. His behavior felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional, especially for someone in a management position. I hope this matter is taken seriously and reviewed. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. HD employees don't make eye contact with you so you don't stop and ask them anything.

For the installers to return would be $200 additional charge-ugh. McLean Hardware quickly had 2 people assist my husband and for only $24 we got the adapter for the expensive Miele dishwasher to be installed and working! THANK YOU MCLEAN HARDWARE- you are THE BEST!!
