After waking the aisles I figured I'd run into an employee at some point and I did, after having a short conversation he insisted they didn't have what I needed so I asked him if maybe we could figure out something to get me by but he insisted I would need to go online and find the correct part, being I am visiting from out of town and had steaks thawing even Amazon couldn't save the moment. Well today "Ace wasn't the place with the helpful hardware folks" unfortunately although it is a nice little hometown store. After being a little disappointed that I wasn't going to find a workable solution I moved on. Fast-forward 10 minutes and a short drive up the road to Publix - I walk in headed to aisle 3 where they sell charcoal, chips and chunks of wood for smokers and voi· là there it is. I guess this Ace is more geared for canned solutions which is fine if you need a box of screws, a PVC fitting or a plunger. Nothing bad here was just hoping for a little unsolicited customer service and a friendly hometown helping hand so this experience was just okay...

I went in to get a standard…read moreBenjamin Moore exterior paint color to touch up spots on my stucco siding and when I got home it didn't match and wasn't even close. I wasn't happy because the store is an hour from my home and it was a huge hassle to go back. When I went back they first blamed Benjamin Moore for changing the color formulas and said it wouldn't match. Then they said the sheen choice caused the difference. They were willing to give me a new gallon of the same paint grade at no charge but then said it needed to be a different sheen that they didn't have in that grade. So they ended up giving me a more expensive paint grade and said they would eat the cost and I offered to pay the difference. When it came time to settle up the clerk changed his story and tried to charge me the full amount. In the end I was only able to get them to knock off $10. What a joke. I would not go back.

I bought 10 gallons of roof paint and ended up not needing them. I'll admit I'm terrible with receipts and did not have one. I bought the paint on customer appreciation day ironically. So I knew the day I bought it. The could not look up my receipt I was told. Ok. I have a local bank record showing I bought it with date etc. No receipts, no return I was told. They gave me and anyone else thar day a discount and I was told the regular price was the same as the day I bought. I won't be shopping at Berrys Paint anymore, and I will encourage all my friends to patronize Sherwin Williams from here on out. No wonder home depot and Lowes put everyone outta business, they have a pretty good return policy. Over 200 bucks is no joke to just forfeit. One angry and dissatisfied customer. ps. I was worried then I would not be able to find the exact coat of paint because it was a beautiful shade of blue. All I had to do was to give the address and they found it in their system. That's cool....their ability to have a record of the type of paint you use just by looking up name and address is a great idea. Whenever I had gone to Lowes or Home Depot I always had the hardest time remembering what was the name of the coat of paint I had to use in the past and to get a close approximation I had to take a sample I scrapped from my wall. Since then I come whenever I need to get paint to do touch ups on my house. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
