Also saw some sweet paddle boats, if you have the money and time to get your significant other an extravagant and slow trip on the lake ;) The one caveat on this location is that I don't think it has live chickens/chicks - they didn't seem to have the space or the gear that the one in Jacksonville did. They definitely went above and beyond to help me with a terminally ill husband. I can't thank them enough! This is very typical of the attitude at Johnston's Home Center. Salesperson informs me I need to pay before anything else. That's a first. Oh well fortunately I carry cash for these types of purchases so I shell out the Benjamins. After I question the order of events, salesperson tells me don't worry - they can always refund me. Hmmm. Item 2. Out trods another sales guru with a touchpad that is running an APP of unknown (to me) pedigree. I go wuuut? Guru informs - no worries, it's just a company we use to automate our paperwork. Right. And who has access to their database? I'm going to create an account on this website and proceed to load it with very specific personal information? Please. Item 3. I ask for a Form 4473. "We don't do that anymore." This is my only option? "Yep." Gimme my cash back. Fortunately I didn't put it on my debit card. At least in the past, ATF would have to go into a store and ask to see all the 4473's in their file cabinet(s) and break federal law to digitize that information. Now they figure they can just get all the rubes to do it for them!
