This is from a purchase about a year ago. I don't like to rate things until there is some time…read morebehind it. We gave AJ paint chip samples and he matched them pretty well. The names he gave them, well we still laugh about. Oyster for the bed room was darker brown and some foo foo mocha color was light brown. This is surplus paint from stores and construction. It is a major brand. Order enough because this is real custom. We ended up with about a half gallon to gallon extra for each so we have some for touch ups and to redo the wall where I am building another closet. I would definitely do this again. We have about 1800 sq/ft. of livable space. We primed all walls and ceilings, moulding, doors etc. Painted all surfaces, different color in each room. No issues, still looks great. Im not going to give an exact price but lets say it was under 400. Saved well over a thousand dollars. It's not a home store but if it going to one makes you feel better go there. AJ is a pretty reasonable guy. Pretty sure if you had a problem he would work with you. Sorry for the late review

On 4/8, I purchased a craftsman drill from this Ace Hardware. At checkout, Cassie the cashier told…read moreme if it is opened they cannot return it unless it's defective but even then they recommend going through craftsman to return it. I go home, open the drill to put the battery on the charger and the charger will not work. We tried four different outlets and it will not work at all. So I call craftsman because Cassie told me it would be a hassle to come back for a defective product, and craftsman tells me they will not and cannot do anything if it is within 30 days of purchase. It is up to the store to return the item. So I called Ace, I spoke with a guy and told him what happened. He said to come in today while the store manager is there before 5 or tomorrow when he is there. I came in today (4/9) and told Cassie what happened. She called up Mike, the shift manager. I told him what happened. He said that he cannot return it to the store. No one can. That I have to go through craftsman. I told him I called yesterday and was told the store manager would be here. He said he doesn't know who I spoke with and that he wasn't gonna be there today and he's the only one who could MAYBE do something, that I now I have to waste my time and come back tomorrow. He offered to keep the drill and take my info and have the manager reach out tomorrow, but he could not and would not take it out of the box and look at what I was talking about. He said that it was store policy that they cannot return it. I asked where that was, where it was posted. He used his foot to point out a sign that said they don't accept returns or exchanges. Yet I was told by the cashier for a defective item, that I could return it, and that that policy was not posted anywhere about defective items. I once again, called craftsman after leaving the store and they have informed me there is nothing they can do within the 30 day window and that the store HAS TO accept the return, exchange, etc. So now I have to wait until the manager Keaton comes in to see how screwed I am going to be or wait 5-8 WEEKS for craftsman to give me a refund.. I am appalled. Oh and to top it'll off, according to the manufacturer date it has been sitting on their shelf for 4 years.

My husband requested a recliner, non electric, one that would swivel and we preferred non rocking. We were shown dozens of recliners. Most all of them were either fabric or leather. But, we were assured any recliner could be custom built to our specifications. So, we were just, " Trying on" recliners to find the one that fit our needs and comfort level. Close to an hour later, we found the one. The one associate, Mr Martinez, took the time to explain how La-Z-Boy builds their furniture, from beginning to end. All made in America, which is very important to us. It's going to take 6 to 8 weeks for our recliner to be built. The time frame is a bit long for me, but we were promised we'd be very happy. Delivery was offered and we were very pleased to learn La-Z-Boy will deliver and set up the recliner in our Motorhome. This is a blessing to us as we are up there in age.
