We're preparing to sell our home and were touching up all the paint. First, we needed to match our master bedroom, and after our own failed attempt (which left us with polka dots!), we were convinced we'd have to repaint the entire room. The staff at Hadlock's saved the day with an absolutely perfect match. Then, just a week later, we had a ceiling mishap. I went back again, and once more, they were patient, precise, and determined to get the color just right. With only hours before our first open house, the color matched perfectly--saving us from repainting an entire ceiling! With a background in property management, I can say that truly accurate paint matching is rare. It's usually "close," but not close enough to avoid repainting whole rooms. Usually all of your bits and bobs are in stock. Seasonal items are often available earlier. The store is easy to navigate and always has a staff member in sight of the popular sections. I've never had an issue purchasing or returning at this location and most of the employees remember me because of my frequent visits. This location is a lot easier to get to than Henrietta or Irondiquoit and has a lot less traffic. I recommend before visiting, use the Home Depot App to check if things are in stock. It is usually spot on. The staff is always willing to help or find someone who can. Some of the staff are a little quirky in their humor, so as always be kind and rewind.

My favorite staff there are Fatma, Albert and Josh (from appliances). Too bad Josh left Home Depot, he was the one who figured anything and everything out in the computer system when it comes to sales, exchange, refunds and returns, in general. I'm sure his replacement is also great but I haven't experienced that, yet. I'll keep shopping here. If you know that you need an assistance from a staff member then make sure to go during the week M-F between 8am to 5pm to be able to get their best help. Yes they open from 6am but not all staff are there at 6am.

Two days later, I got notice that I needed to pick up my item. I went in because I had ordered a second identical item from another local TSC store, wondered if possibly it was a duplicate order. It wasn't, there wasn't an additional item waiting, and a couple of the staff members got a little porky with me, practically accusing me of trying to pull a fast one. I explained that they may want mark my purchase as completed so the item could be taken out of inventory. I was a retail manager for years and I know what it's like having to try to explain shortages to district managers! Obviously they didn't because I was able to order and pay for the item again today, asking for in store pickup. It's something that I use frequently so it's not a purchase I made simply to prove a point. It is the only one (supposedly) in stock. Time will tell. Honestly, the current management is more interested in hanging out and chit chatting with their staff than actually helping customers. I will say there are a couple of outstanding cashiers who are always smiling and friendly - you go, girls!

I had an entire kitchen quoted and ended up only pulling the trigger on just an oven. I'm now very glad I didn't buy the rest from them. First, we discussed in the showroom about the struggle of delivery we had in the past, so I know for a fact we discussed delivery terms with the sales women. Fast forward to today our oven gets delivered at 7am (were told between 8 and 10) and the guy says he doesn't go inside houses. How exactly are you supposed to offer delivery and not go in the house? He ends up dropping it at our back step outside and its supposed to rain today. So now we both have to take time off work and struggle moving this oven by ourselves before it downpours. We called and got forwarded to about 5 different people, only to be told there's nothing they could do. I brought up the fact that this is definitely something we discussed at our appointment to which I was dismissed and told "that's just their policy". I find that asinine, god for bid they had an elderly customer... How does a company selling appliances have that type of policy? With an upcoming remodel, they lost out on a good opportunity. I will never buy from them again, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

From working with our designer, Dave, to the manager, Steve, with Sherri in the office, and to all the guys on our construction crew, especially Ron, Stephen, Nick, Tanner the electrician, Keil--even the Boces student Kadin--all of them were kind, professional, and patient with my questions. They were also patient with my pets who were very curious about the different sounds coming from the garage and bathroom. They worked clean every day and made sure to vacuum up all dust/debris before leaving in the afternoon. I was out of town for 3 of the weeks (it was a 6 week job) and Steve, the manager, was awesome about making a few minor changes that I wanted. They came in a bit under budget which was an absolute first experience in all my years of home renovations. I recommend them without reservation and will certainly use them when I update my kitchen.
