They also have some refurb sweepers and shampooers. I like Ollie's for their huge book section. I have bought carpet off of them several times and have been quite happy with it. They are definitely a good alternative for a job where you have a small room. Their cooking utensils and gadgets are decent as well. They also have decent selsctions of cheaper furniture. They also have a limited selection of clothes, suit cases, and a large selection of housewares. They buy up left over lots from big box stores and then sell them in their store. This is a great way to give a deal to the customer and I am sure they are doing quite well in this economy. I love the fact that they repurposed a store space as this use to be a Kmart and a Sears after that. Maybe they need to clean a little bit, every once in a while. But, I like going to Ollie's.

Not one time did I have to look for someone to help me. Dan in the lighting dept. Jeff and Tina helped in the bath dept. and Todd helped us in the pro dept. checking out. Lowes might offer a little better discount, but customer service was hands down a 10+. I will always drive over the mountain to shop here! Ps. Every department I passed someone was there to ask if I needed help! Not many stores like this any more.

We visited the showroom and "tried several out" I settled on one and we did do some haggling (we only needed the mattress since we were having a platform bed among some other things). We reached a very good price for the product and he offered to deliver it in an hour to my house in Milroy. AN HOUR!!!! THATS HUSTLE! I'll recommend over and over. I've always loved the Habitat for Humanity ReStores. Their prices are excellent, much lower than…read moremost other thrift stores (MUCH cheaper than Goodwill) and they have nice stuff. We've gotten a few pieces of furniture, lamps, kitchen items, and lots of scrap wood at this particular location and the prices have saved us hundreds of dollars. They have nice bathrooms but recently started locking them which is slightly inconvenient but I guess they've had trouble with that. The people working there are generally nice but definitely not super pleasant- they're not rude but not especially outgoing either. Overall a great place to go for miscellaneous items you don't mind getting secondhand!
