They carry everything painting related that you could possibly need, so it's a great, one-stop paint shop. I went in to get some ideas as to what color to paint my newly renovated kitchen. The main line they carry is Benjamin Moore. It's a quality paint, and the displays they had offered plenty of paint chip samples for me to choose from. While there I also picked up a beautiful metallic paint for an arts and crafts project. At the register I asked where cheap paint brushes would be - and they man showed me they had three differently-sized $5 brushes right at checkout. So smart and so convenient. I've narrowed down my color choices, so I called ahead to get two sample colors made. Each color cost $6.99, and was ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. They also provided recommendations for painters when I asked, which is so useful. Why deal with the hassle of a big box store, when you can shop here with no fuss? They have been in business since 1933, and I hope they make it another 87 years!

They have a very good selection of hardware needs, paint, plumbing, tools, garden and so much more. I like to go to Ace for garden supplies the most. Firstly, their plants are very well cared for. When I buy a plant from Ace, I feel pretty confident it is healthy and I can keep it alive. I always buy my soil and fertilizer here too. The plant pots here can be quite pricey, so I sometimes buy them elsewhere. Prices here can sometimes be higher than the big chain hardware stores, but sometimes lower. Depends on the item. One thing I buy here that they have the best price on is canning supplies. I make my own jams and jellies and Ace usually has the jars on sale.

Called in for my paint in advance and spoke to a woman named Spring, could've been Summer, and she got very snippy about having to look two years back for one shade, cutting me off bc I was giving information "too fast" Decided not to bother her for the second color and instead go in the store, maybe I would get better service. I was wrong as a gentleman named Jose claim to have looked ALL the way through my history and couldn't find the second shade that I wanted although I had ordered it recently. I asked a question if there's an online portal for customers to see their color history and when he asked, another gentleman helped him find my second color. Although Jose got very nasty that he looked through all the history and did not find the color in there, and even tried to tell me that I must've purchased it at another store and confuse it for this one (?) Beyond that the profile has my husbands name but my phone number I asked if we could clean up the information like having his phone number or my name instead and even that posed as a inconvenience for him. It's basic customer service; you're there to do a job & when we have stupid questions even if you heard it all day just be nicer about it. Back in January I ordered a pint version of one of the colors and I was serviced by a man a Matthew who is absolutely amazing and he is who deserves the five stars but the store has a hole can work on their effort.

A couple days after Hurricane Helene my refrigerator died. I restarted it & the panel was dead, it…read morewouldn't freeze and the fridge was not cool. That often happens with power outages which I had due to the hurricane. Visited two Lowes, two Home Depot's, Best Buy, & Famous Tate. I bought this fridge from Lowes in Carrollwood. I was able to show on the Home Depot app the lesser price which they matched, and bought from here bc they were able to deliver it two days later. Jordan and a female were excellent and friendly and patient with this purchase. Come Monday, the delivery guys came and were literally here for less than five minutes. They took off the door from the garage without even measuring the fridge. It was not going to fit through. I even measured it beforehand. Afterwards they checked out the water valve which hooks to the line for the water and ice. They barely touched it & said get a plumber and get a new valve we can't do this. I called plumbers to gain more info & did find out, the line could simply be disconnected from the old to the new fridge with no effort. Just needed to turn off the water from the outside. We hired that plumber to do it. Then the new delivery guys came on Thursday to install my new fridge inside. These guys were much more professional. The other ones were lazy and just wanted me to provide them water without doing their job. On several occasions, I called Lowes customer service. One person said I don't know anything, I am just an office person who works at a desk. Another one said that the issue with the delivery guy happens pretty often, & transferred me to the wrong department. I did not receive good customer service over the phone and the delivery the first time was beyond an awful experience. Lowes only called to ask about the second guys coming in, but of course not the first one. I had to call them several times and I felt like they did not care for the information and concern I provided. I wouldn't recommend a delivery and installation from Lowes. They will do a push back on something just to do the least work bc they have to get their deliveries in or something. They are also a company hired by Lowes. They clearly don't care. Save yourself the headache and stress. If you buy from them, and can have delivery and installation another way, go that route. Not everyone has that choice.
